JD Vance’s Campaign Relocates Event with Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene After Pushback

Ohio Senate candidate JD Vance moved his campaign stop with Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA-14) from its original location after pushback against the venue for hosting the event.

The stop, which is a portion of Vance’s statewide bus campaign, was scheduled to host an event at The Landing Event Center in Loveland. However, after it was announced, critics of Vance and Greene lashed out at the venue.

“Due to the tremendous interest in the JD Vance presentation that was scheduled to take place here this Sunday, it has been relocated to the Marriott NE located in Deerfield Twp. We appreciate everyone’s interest and concerns,” the organization wrote on their Facebook page.

Furthermore, even after the event was moved, Democrats attempted to cancel the event completely. Local Democrats published a website, encouraging opponents to leave negative reviews of the location hosting the new stop.

“JD Vance has invited Marjorie Taylor Greene to join him in the Cincinnati area for a ‘meet-and-greet’ event on Sunday at 12:30 PM. Concerned members of the community have already banded together and been successful in removing her event from taking place at the Loveland Event Center, but they have now moved to Marriott Northeast in Mason,” the website reads. “Greene and the ideas she’s promoted are not things that ought to be welcome in our community. Please help us make a statement.”

Yes, Every Kid

“Greene has promoted the execution of fellow Americans, attacked Jewish people, and tried to overturn a valid American election. She’s a provocateur who has done nothing but drive division and hate in our country.”

Even Democratic candidate Tim Ryan could not ignore the attention, pleading with individuals to donate to his campaign because of the appearance by the Republican lawmaker.

Despite the attacks, the event seemingly continued with relatively no problems.

“Fired up to see MTG in Ohio,” Vance tweeted, attached to a picture of a room packed with supporters.
