Bradshaw Home to Establish Operations in Georgia with New Distribution Center

Bradshaw Home, a designer and marketer of kitchen and cleaning products, will establish operations in Georgia by constructing a new distribution center in Effingham County.

Bradshaw Home, which manufactures kitchen tools, gadgets, bakeware, cookware, food storage, and cleaning products, operates under many brands, including Dawn®, Clorox®, Mr. Clean®, GoodCook®, Casabella®, and Evercare®.

The company currently distributes in more than 100,000 retail store outlets in North America – maintaining the number one market share for kitchenware in grocery stores. The company is also the largest gadget supplier in the world, shipping over 200 million units yearly with combined annual sales of over $450 million, according to its website.

“More than 75% of Bradshaw’s customers are east of the Rocky Mountains, 55% are east of the Mississippi River,” Bradshaw Home CEO Tony Hair said in a statement. “By opening an East Coast location, we expand our distribution network to more effectively service customers while significantly reducing freight miles to transport our products – a win-win for both retailers and the environment.”

The company’s new 1.2-million-square-foot facility will be located at the Savannah Portside International Park near Meldrim. The project is expected to create 230 new jobs in Effingham County, according to the Georgia Department of Economic Development (GDEcD).

“Counties near the Port of Savannah are experiencing unprecedented growth, attracting companies with national and global footprints like Bradshaw Home,” GDEcD Commissioner Pat Wilson stated. “The region around Savannah has an impressive industry mix, with recent wins ranging from automotive to logistics. Effingham County and the Georgia Ports Authority have actively pursued a variety of industries to create a strong local economy.”

The company will partner with NFI, a third-party logistics provider, to operate the new facility, which is expected to open in November. GDEcD says NFI “offers a strong presence in Savannah with warehouses and transload facilities, as well as dedicated and port drainage terminals throughout the area.”
