Fulton County election officials have discovered ways to breach Georgia law and enable voting irregularities, said Georgia State Sen. Greg Dolezal (R-Cumming).
Dolezal accused Fulton County officials of this behavior when he appeared on Thursday’s edition of The John Fredericks Show.
Fredericks asked Dolezal about county officials allegedly firing poll workers who testified to members of the Georgia General Assembly about voting irregularities. Both workers each had about 10 years of experience, Dolezal said.
“They signed sworn affidavits stating that what they said was accurate. I was able to ask questions of both of those ladies on the committee and thought they were telling the truth as to what they saw. Both of them yesterday received notices stating that their services would no longer be needed from Fulton County,” Dolezal said.
“We are digging into that. [State Sen.] Brandon Beach [R-Alpharetta] is working on that, as far as what is going on there. It seems to me that the more we peel back the layers of the onion the more frustrating it gets. I understand this is a heavy lift. We are trying to figure out 5.5 million ballots counted in Georgia, but we have to, and we can do better.”
Officials with the Fulton County Department of Registration and Elections did not return The Georgia Star News’ request for comment Thursday.
Fulton County officials announced in October that they would deploy mobile voting units throughout the area. The RV-size mobile units are large enough to each have eight to 10 voting stations, Fulton County officials said at the time.
Dolezal told Fredericks Thursday that he cannot find how Georgia law permits such methods.
“In fact, the law states that they can start up additional voting locations, ‘provided that any such site is a branch of the county courthouse, courthouse annex government service center, providing government services or another government building generally accessible to the public.’ Buildings are not on wheels,” Dolezal said.
“What they are doing is they are rolling these voting locations all over Fulton County. They go into 80 percent Democrat precincts, which is what they are scheduled to do right now.”
As reported, U.S. Sen. David Perdue (R-GA) and U.S. Sen. Kelly Loeffler (R-GA), are on the January 5, 2021 ballot for the U.S. Senate against Democrats Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock, respectively.
