TRUMPDATE: Latest from the Team Trump Virginia Campaign for October 29

Welcome to the Thursday edition of our daily Virginia Trump campaign update! We will provide our readers with daily updates on the Trump Virginia campaign from today to November 3 (and after…if need be!).

It’s officially five days until the election on November 3 – and two days until early voting in Virginia closes.

President Trump spoke at rallies in Arizona on Wednesday, likely the final time the president will appear out west before Tuesday. Today Mr. Trump will appear at a rally in Florida before making his way to North Carolina.

Friday’s schedule has President Trump speaking in Wisconsin at two rallies before heading to Minnesota.

Today the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services announced that a vaccine for COVID-19 will be provided to enrollees at no charge when the vaccine becomes widely available in 2021. This is seen as another positive move in the right direction for the Trump administration in its battle with the coronavirus that’s killed over 230,000 Americans.

“Under President Trump’s leadership, we have developed a comprehensive plan to support the swift and successful distribution of a safe and effective vaccine for COVID-19,” said CMS Administrator Seema Verma. “As Operation Warp Speed nears its goal of delivering the vaccine in record time, CMS is acting now to remove bureaucratic barriers while ensuring that states, providers and health plans have the information and direction they need to ensure broad vaccine access and coverage for all Americans.”

In Virginia, Mike Dickinson, who is running for Richmond City Council as a Republican, is organizing another Trump parade set to roll off at 2 p.m. from Mission BBQ (5432 Glenside Dr Richmond, VA 23228). Dickinson organized the first a couple weeks ago, and over 500 cars turned out.

“It was massive,” Dickinson told The Virginia Star. “I knew it was going to be big, but no idea how big.”

Once again, those wishing to take part in the parade are encouraged to decorate their cars with signs and flags, and for people to wear their shirts and hats supporting President Trump’s re-election.

“The amount of enthusiasm last time was phenomenal,” Dickinson said. “It speaks volumes about the support the president has in Richmond, and it shows Democrats and folks on the left that supporters of the president will not be intimidated.”

Dickinson believes his campaign for city council has received a boost since the first parade, and he’s optimistic this next one will do even more favors for his election efforts.

“I’m going to do everything I can to help myself get elected and get President Trump re-elected,” he said. “I’ve supported the president since Day 1, and I am fully aligned with President Trump’s platform, and I am the law and order candidate for Richmond City Council.”
