TRUMPDATE: Latest From the Team Trump Virginia Campaign for October 6

Welcome to the Tuesday edition of our daily Virginia Trump campaign update! We will provide our readers with daily updates on the Trump Virginia campaign from today to November 3 (and after…if need be!).

It’s officially 28 days until the election on November 3 – and 25 days until early voting in Virginia closes. The deadline to register to vote in time for the 2020 election is October 13, one week from today.

President Trump has left Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and returned to The White House where he will continue to recover from COVID-19. The president tweeted that he would be departing the Maryland facility Monday afternoon.

Upon his return to Washington, D.C., the president tweeted another video, thanking the doctors and staff at Walter Reed and encouraging Americans not to fear COVID-19.

“Don’t let it dominate you,” he said. “Don’t be afraid of it. You’re gonna beat it. We have the best medical equipment, we have the best medicines, all developed recently. And you’re gonna beat it.”

Meanwhile on Monday night, the Trump-Pence campaign kicked off “Operation MAGA” with a virtual campaign event. Viewers heard from Lara Trump, Donald Trump Jr., Kimberly Guilfoyle, and Vice President Mike Pence as they all conveyed their message to supporters that they need to stay the course.

“Donald Trump has fought for America. He’s fought hard,” Donald Trump Jr. said. “He’s done it against unprecedented attacks from a hateful group of Democrats and a media that’s just as bad. But yet, he still manages to have success.”

“Now is the time as we launch ‘Operation MAGA’ for each and every one of us to continue to do our part in this battle,” Vice President Pence added. “As you’re out and about, as you’re talking to voters about all that we’ve accomplished and all we can do with four more years of President Donald Trump in the White House, we encourage you to continue to do your part.”

Team Trump Virginia remains committed to doing their part as well. Early voting is ongoing, and so those who wish to vote prior to November 3rd are encouraged to do so, whether that’s by absentee ballot or voting in person at their local registrar’s office.

The Trump Virginia campaign continues to knock on doors, make phone calls and remain engaged with voters and register new voters.

There will be watch parties across the state for this week’s vice presidential debate, and more information on those will be revealed as details become available.
