Live from Music Row Wednesday morning on The Tennessee Star Report with Michael Patrick Leahy – broadcast on Nashville’s Talk Radio 98.3 and 1510 WLAC weekdays from 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. – host Leahy welcomed the original all-star panelist Crom Carmichael to the studio for another edition of Crom’s Commentary.
CARMICHAEL SAID:
Here’s an interesting headline from The Wall Street Journal. This is dated February 14, 2022. The headline is: Trump Really Was Spied On. Now, up until yesterday or the day before, up until then, The Wall Street Journal would not report that Trump was spied on – just like The Wall Street Journal continues to say there was no election fraud. I don’t know how many years it will be before you’ll see a headline that says, oh, gosh, there really was election fraud. And your organization is reporting on this in Georgia.
And now there are actually investigations about the 300,000 ballots-plus in Georgia that had no chain of custody. Now what that means, Michael, is that doesn’t even mean it has to be ballot harvesting. That means that you could go print out 300,000 ballots and just scribble a name on them and stuff them in those Zuckerberg boxes and then have somebody prearranged to haul them down to where they’re counted.
And then they would be counted even though there isn’t even a voter associated with that ballot. It could be a complete and utter fraud. And that’s what I think probably happened. But here’s what’s interesting.
And you look at this thing about Trump [being] spied on. When Trump was spied on, who was the head of the FBI? James Comey. Who’s head of the FBI now? It isn’t James Comey, but they’re just as corrupt in trying to cover it up. Who was head of the CIA when Trump was spied on? Brennan.
Who’s head of the CIA now? It isn’t Brennan, but they’re just as corrupt. And this is what the great problem is in Washington, is it’s institutional. It isn’t individual people. So how do you fix that? How do you fix that? And my solution would be to go get a whole bunch of retired military Navy Seals and retired Rangers and bring them in.
I’m talking about like, 1,000, and bring them in and have them populate the head of the FBI. The top 1,000 people would be brand-new people, and I would get rid of the top 1,000 people in the FBI. And there might be some good people that lose their jobs.
And that’s just too bad. Same thing with the CIA and the same thing with these other so-called departments that are supposed to be protecting our homeland defense. I’d do the same thing in the Pentagon.
The Pentagon, moving up in the military ranks has become so political that they have lost their way on what their true job is. And they see their job as protecting the government itself, not the people of the United States.
This would be a whole-of-government approach to bringing in people, just as Congresswoman Harshbarger is a businessperson, never been involved in politics and had a calling, and she’s up there. And as she said, the bills that are brought to the House floor don’t even go through committee and they’re just voted on up or down.
2,500 pages. And the language that the Democrats want in there is slipped in there someplace in the bill where it’s almost impossible to find. And the whole rest of the bill is so that they could hide that one piece.
That’s no way to run a government, but it’s run that way for a reason. And that doesn’t mean it’s a good reason, but it is a reason. Until Republicans recognize the cancer and move to eradicate and eliminate the cancer, the cancer will remain.
