Congressional candidate Juan Ciscomani expanded his campaign team Tuesday by hiring two senior-level staffers to manage the effort’s operations.

The two new staff members, Becky Freeman and Jonathan Bleacher will serve as the campaign manager and field operations director, respectively.

“I am thrilled to welcome Becky and Jonathan to Team Ciscomani,” said Ciscomani. “Their individual expertise will lead this campaign to victory in August and November. I’ve worked with Becky for over a decade, and the operational knowledge and community relationships she brings to the team are invaluable. Under her leadership, Jonathan’s experience to reach and connect with voters will serve our team well. I am excited to welcome them!”

According to the release, Freeman is a native of Tucson, which is partially covered in the new congressional district. Furthermore, she has managed Governor Doug Ducey’s operations in Southern Arizona.

Bleacher, an experienced field operative, most recently worked for the Republican National Committee (RNC) in Virginia to help elect Republican Glenn Young, whose victory shocked Democrats across the country.

Ciscomani has developed strong momentum in the early part of the campaign. In addition to impressive fundraising numbers, the candidate picked up a key endorsement from Republican House Leader Kevin McCarthy. McCarthy’s endorsement will allow access to the Congressional Leadership Fund—a PAC closely connected to McCarthy.

“Juan Ciscomani is a conservative fighter for Southern Arizona, and we need his help in Congress to stop the radical Biden-Pelosi agenda. Juan embodies the American Dream, and he’s working to rebuild it for everyday Arizonans. Juan’s message is resonating with voters across his district, and he has built a strong campaign that will help us Fire Pelosi and Take Back the House in November! I’m proud to endorse Juan Ciscomani for Congress,” the Republican leader said.
