Commentary: This Is Obama’s Third Term

by Drew Allen

On October 30, 2008, five days before Barack Obama won that year’s presidential election, he promised to “fundamentally transform the United States of America.” He nearly lived up to that promise.

Obama doubled the federal debt. He oversaw the worst economic growth of any president since Herbert Hoover. Under Obama, Americans experienced a stagnant median household income, a decline in homeownership, an increase in health insurance rates, and an increase in the number of Americans on food stamps, to mention just a few lowlights.

By every metric that should have mattered to Americans, Obama had failed. But from Obama’s point of view, he had succeeded. American prosperity is anathema to Obama and the modern-day Democratic Party. The Democratic Party’s power doesn’t come from happy, successful, and independent Americans; but rather from miserable, forlorn, desperate, and impoverished Americans who are dependent upon the government for their salvation.

While Obama made great headway in fundamentally transforming America, he did not finish the job. His plans were slowed by the 2010 midterms, when Americans rose up and the Democratic Party lost 63 seats in the House and six in the Senate. The Republicans took control of the House.

The American uprising continued in the 2014 midterms, when the Democrats lost the Senate. Obama became a lame-duck president, with the Republicans controlling both the House and the Senate. While this was certainly frustrating to Obama and his legacy, it only represented a minor setback.

The Democrats had convinced themselves that Hillary Clinton would be elected easily as the first female president in 2016. Obama had laid the groundwork, and Hillary would finish the job—the fundamental transformation that Obama had promised in 2008.

But to the Democrats’ shock, Clinton didn’t win. Donald J. Trump and the American people defeated her. This is why we witnessed unprecedented rage from the Democratic Party. This is why they dedicated themselves so fanatically to the impeachment of Trump.

Trump’s election in 2016 disrupted their carefully thought-out plans for fundamental transformation. This drove them mad, because they never calculated that Trump could win, and that shock drove the party to new depths of insanity.

While Hillary Clinton continues to reject the results of the 2016 election, the party is more grounded—not in rationality, or sanity, but in reality. They understand their window for fundamental transformation is narrowing. The 2022 midterms are too distant to comfort many Americans, but they are near enough to drive the Democratic Party to declare a full-scale war on America.

The Democrats understand they will likely lose their majorities in 2022. It is this acceptance that propels them to such vicious, irreverent, and unprecedented lows. This desperation explains the rapid pace of their efforts to nationalize elections, expand the welfare state, import illegals in record numbers, drive up the national debt, and fundamentally transform America.

While Biden is the empty suit and emptier mind in the Oval Office, it is Obama who is running the show; it is Obama who is desperate to fulfill the promise he made in 2008. This is Obama’s third term.

Seventy-four of Biden’s top 100 aides worked in the Obama Administration. Merrick Garland, who was denied appointment to the Supreme Court during the Obama Administration, is now Biden’s attorney general. Obama’s surgeon general, Vivek Murthy, is currently the surgeon general again under the Biden Administration.

So too are the tactics and policies of the Biden Administration identical to those in the Obama Administration. Obama used taxpayer dollars to fly illegal, unaccompanied minors into the United States. Biden is doing the same.

Obama sent “a letter to schools across the country notifying them that transgender students must be permitted to use bathrooms that align with their gender identity.” Similarly, Obama was a quiet proponent of critical race theory as early as 2009. His book, Dreams From My Father, and Obama’s frequent comments about his racialized experiences served as a framework and justification for incorporating “diversity, equity, and inclusion” curricula in schools.

We are witnessing a rejection of racialist curricula and transgender policies in the contested gubernatorial election in Virginia right now. Obama is stumping for former Governor Terry McAuliffe as if he’s fighting for his own legacy—because he is. Obama isn’t campaigning to save McAuliffe’s political career, he’s fighting to preserve his own. Obama is behaving as if McAuliffe’s defeat would represent a rejection of Obama. He’s speaking as if it’s personal because it is; because Obama is running the show.

While Obama recently admitted that this fundamental transformation is coming “too rapidly for a big portion of the population,” there is no indication that he or his party have plans to slow down. Our country is being invaded by illegals, inflation and our debt will continue to rise, and the American people will continue to suffer.

This is all by design. It’s part of the fundamental transformation Obama promised in 2008. He’s desperate to finish the job.

Obama said in an interview with Colbert. If I could feed lines to a front man or woman from my basement in my sweats and deliver the lines for them to read I would be happy. That is precisely what we are experiencing with puppet Biden giving Obama his 3rd term. Especially with all the Obama holdovers still in Bidens regime. They work to fundamentally change America.
