International airline Aer Lingus will debut at Nashville International Airport (BNA) next year, offering nonstop flight routes to Dublin, Ireland.

Aer Lingus, Ireland’s flag carrier, will begin offering flights to Dublin from BNA every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday beginning on April 12, 2025.

The flight from BNA to Dublin Airport lasts approximately 8.5 hours and will operate on an Airbus A321XLR aircraft.

“This direct route between Dublin and Nashville is a hugely exciting addition to Aer Lingus’ expanding North American network. This non-stop connection will strengthen the deep cultural, musical and business ties between Ireland and Tennessee,” Susanne Carberry, Aer Lingus’ chief customer officer, said.

From Dublin, travelers can connect to other major European cities, including London, Edinburgh, Rome, Amsterdam, Paris, Manchester, and Berlin.

Doug Kreulen, president and CEO of the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority, said the addition of the new international flight route will “offer travelers an unforgettable opportunity to experience the best of both worlds, from exploring Ireland’s stunning landscapes and ancient ruins to immersing themselves in Nashville’s vibrant Broadway experience.”

“It’s the perfect combination for those seeking adventure, culture, and a truly unforgettable journey,” Kreulen added.

The addition of a new route to Ireland beginning next year comes approximately one week after BNA announced another nonstop route would start offering flights to Iceland beginning in May, as previously reported by The Tennessee Star.

Icelandair will begin offering a new seasonal nonstop flight route from BNA to Reykjavík, Iceland, four days a week – Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday – starting May 16, 2025, through October.

Additionally, in August, Southwest Airlines, the largest carrier at BNA, announced it would be expanding service to offer three new nonstop flight routes to Cabo San Lucas/Los Cabos, Mexico; Punta Cana, Dominican Republic; and Indianapolis from Nashville beginning in March.
