Nashville Predators Crush Penguins 5 to 1 to Win Game 3 of Stanley Cup Final

The Nashville Predators crushed the Pittsburgh Penguins 5 to 1 on Saturday night to win the first Stanley Cup Final game ever played in the Music City.

The victory was the first in the Stanley Cup Final for the Predators, who dropped the first two games against the Penguins in Pittsburgh.

Nashville goaltender Pekka Rinne, who had played below his usual All-Star performance in the second game of the series, bounced back with a stellar performance to hold the defending Stanley Cup champions to a single goal.

The hometown crowd who saw the Predators win at Bridgestone Arena were wild with enthusiasm before, during, and after the game.

The Penguins jumped out to an early 1 – 0 lead in the first period, but the Predators bounced back ferociously in the second with three goals. They sealed the deal in the third with two more goals.

Five different Predators scored.
