Local Police Silent After FBI Kills Tennessee Man in His Home

The Henderson Police Department (HPD) provided no update when asked Monday by The Tennessee Star about the August 16 killing of a local man at the hands of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

The Star’s inquiries went unreturned in the case of Theodore Deschler, who was killed after the FBI raided his home. HPD did not mention the incident on its Facebook page at all. Neither did the official Facebook page for Chester County, which is used by the Chester County Sheriff’s Office.

According to Deschler’s family, the FBI still has not informed them of the events leading up to the fatal shooting.

“There’s three up front and two on the sides they broke out…they were shooting flash…smoke grenades,” Russell Deschler, the brother of the victim, reportedly said. “We believe they broke the windows of the garage so they could shoot. Because if you look, that chair they moved from back there and they were standing on the chair when they shot.”

Deschler was a veteran, and his mother, who was not named in a WBBJ TV report, described the killing as “senseless.”

“It was a senseless act,” she reportedly said. “You know Teddy was a 100% disabled veteran. He had problems. He had severe PTSD. He had depression but he was getting help for it but this was senseless. He didn’t have a weapon on him. He was just trying to get out of the house because it was filled with tear gas.”

Earlier this year, Deschler was reportedly arrested after a stabbing in nearby Selmer, though the circumstances of that stabbing, and what if any charges were filed against him, remain unclear.

The FBI says it is investigating the incident, but provided no further details.

“The FBI is reviewing an agent-involved shooting which occurred today at approximately 6:40 am while FBI SWAT was conducting an arrest operation in Henderson, TN,” said a statement from the federal law enforcement agency. “The subject is deceased. The FBI takes all shooting incidents involving our agents or task force members seriously. In accordance with FBI policy, the shooting incident is under review by the FBI’s Inspection Division. As this is an ongoing matter, we have no further details to provide.”

Jim Hoft, founder of The Gateway Pundit, joined Steve Bannon’s War Room to discuss the shooting on August 28.

“What we know, Steve, is that the FBI arrived in a pre-dawn raid,” said Hoft. “They knocked on the door, they grabbed his mother, dragged her outside, [and] put her in the back of a police car. She asked them, ‘what is this all about, what are you doing?’ and they said, ‘It’s none of your business.'”

“Then they proceeded to throw smoke bombs into the door,” he said. “The veteran, Theodore, was standing in the kitchen – his mother says he was unarmed – the mother says it took 15 minutes and they shot this man dead in his home, a 100% disabled veteran.”

Hoft noted that there has been no national media coverage of the incident, but that after making contact with one of Deschler’s neighbors, that neighbor said he was not allowed to discuss the event because he is a witness for the FBI.

It should be investigated, but the FBI is investigating itself. They have not even mentioned another word about why one armed IRS agent killed another armed IRS agent. What is going on in our country is frightening. Law and order be damned.

  2. ForceMajeure

SCOTUS has upheld that the County Sheriff is the highest ranking law enforcement official in the county, superseding ALL federal law enforcement authorities including the FBI. It is not clear at all that the Sheriffs understand their authority, but arresting and incarcerating a few Feds if they fail to come to heel under county supervision would be a great conversation starter among Fed thugs. It’s long past time for county Sheriffs to ‘man up’ on this issue and exercise their full authority as Constitutional officers in a sovereign state. The owe this to the citizens they took an oath to protect.

Lucifer’s dimmercrap jackboot goons murder a patriot.
ALL the alphabet agencies NEED abolished. The SURE don’t serve US.

Where is the Sheriff in all of this ? Even tho it was inside the city and the city has it’s own Police dept. The city is inside Chester county, and the Sheriff is The chief law enforcement Officer anywhere in this county. He has the authority to arrest anyone including an FBI agent inside this county. He has the power to force any federal law enforcement officer coming into this county to check in with him before attempting any arrests, even for federal laws. I do not know if our Sheriff is a Member of the national (Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace officers association) or not, but you can bet your sweet biffy, that it will come up in the next election. They will help train all Sheriffs and advise him of what his legal authority is and how to respond to situations like this. To use an old Cliche, Ignorance is no excuse for the law.

  5. Murder is murder, even if it is the feds doing the killing. He walked with a cane, why not wait until Sunday when hobbled out to drive to church? Nah, they wanted him DEAD ‼️ Making an example. ⚰️

What’s there to know? The FBI is Joe Biden’s personal assassination squad and the local police look up to them. A pair Buster Browns dreams of being a shiny jackboot one day. They don’t need to explain themselves to the likes of you.

Keep flapping your gums and they’ll raid your offices with flashbangs and, hey, accidents happen all the time. Within a day, a website never seen before will pop up and they’ll say that’s where you were posting white supremacist screeds. End of story and the predawn execution was justified. Be glad they didn’t strip your mother down and make her stand in front of the neighbors naked and humiliated.

This is exactly where we are as a country right now.

The state house can’t even secure the speaker’s gavel from Justin Smollett, I mean, Jones.

    “…passed away unexpectedly…”???

Well, I guess that’s one way to put it, when the FBI raids your house and kills you.

  8. Randall Davidson

sad day for our state, this should be investigated immediately.

This ought to concern every freedom loving American. At least gather the facts of what happened.

  10. His name was Theodore Deschler

When do we seal the borders of Tennessee from all federal agencies?

This is the new reality of the gestapo fbi and evil government.

Thank you for your service Mr. Theodore Deschler, we are sorry the nation you sacrificed for sent the goons to murder you.
