Steven Crowder Releases Tennessee Office of Homeland Security Bulletin Warning Agencies of Bomb Threat Targeting Trump Supporters

Conservative commentator Steven Crowder released an Officer Safety Bulletin issued by the Tennessee Office of Homeland Security in response to a bomb threat targeting supporters of former President Donald Trump.

The document was issued in response to a Guardian Incident Report received by the Memphis Office of the FBI on February 29, regarding a threat made by a man named Benjamin Matthew Dayton via text message to his mother.

One of the messages Dayton sent to his mother, according to the bulletin, said “Have been thinking an awful lot about rigging my van and bombing Trump supporters.”

The bulletin revealed Dayton, who “suffers from unspecified mental health diagnoses,” has “experienced suicidal and homicidal ideations and also mentioned trying to obtain a firearm,” as well as an extensive criminal history that includes previous arrests for “public drunkenness and domestic battery incidents.”

Dayton also has an active Order of Protection issued in Waukegan, Illinois, according to the document.

The bulletin further revealed that Dayton has “several addresses associated with him in the Memphis/Shelby County area,” however, he is currently believed to be “transient” with “no address.”

Despite this, the document noted that Dayton’s vehicle, a tan 1995 Chevrolet G20 passenger van bearing an Illinois license plate, was captured on Flock cameras in Shelby County on February 28.

“Law enforcement personnel should exercise caution if contact is made with Dayton and/or his vehicle,” the bulletin states. “No detention of the above subject or vehicle should be made solely based on this bulletin. This information is provided to increase situational awareness and advise law enforcement agencies of the potential officer safety concerns related to the subject of this bulletin.”

In addition to his apparent loathing of the former president, Dayton’s Instagram profile features pro-Palestine messages, including a post where he marked the message “From the river to the sea” on the back of his van as well as a video post that includes excerpts from an Army-issued “Improvised Munitions Handbook” and references to Gaza and Palestine.

Dayton’s last known location, according to his Instagram profile, was the Ouachita National Forest.

  1. Anything happens with this clown, all you’ll see in the papers is, “previously known to law enforcement.” DOJ too busy arresting little old ladies to worry about actual domestic terrorism.

    Domestic Terrorism 101.
