Live from Music Row Thursday morning on The Tennessee Star Report with Michael Patrick Leahy – broadcast on Nashville’s Talk Radio 98.3 and 1510 WLAC weekdays from 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. – host Leahy welcomed all-star panelist, Dr. Carol Swain, to the studio to discuss the lack of transparency in a Biden administration and the privileges of having the right last name.

Leahy: Well, there is Joe Biden sending the signal of weakness out to our adversaries. You know sometimes Carol when you get up in the morning and you think did I have a bad dream for like a couple of months? Is Joe Biden now really the president? And then you have a cup of coffee and then you wake up and say oh my goodness, he really is. Former President Obama once said elections have consequences. My theme Carol, stolen elections have consequences.
Swain: Well, I think that’s true. And with Joe Biden, he’s very quiet. He’s very low-key. But what the American people need to know is that while he is not before the cameras he’s doing enormous damage to the American people. With President Trump, you got transparency. He was very open about what he was going to do, how he was going to do it, and when he was going to do it.
With Joe Biden, you get a lot of things that are being done out of public view. And I think that’s far more dangerous. I’ve said for many years that is dangerous to have situations where people are forced to be silent about the abuse. It’s far more dangerous to have a person that you don’t know what they’re thinking or doing. I would rather have a person that’s transparent. They tell me where they stand and I know who they are. I may agree or disagree with them, but I know who they are and where they stand.
Leahy: I could not agree with you more. (Gives call-in number) Or if you have a comment for me. I listen to that Carol and immediately. I think of the exact opposite of what he just said. He is projecting weakness with that statement and I’m sure China is listening very clearly on that. I like the old Roman Maxim if you want peace prepare for war.
Swain: I also think that he was trying to say something positive about his kids because we have heard enough about them to know that they have had a number of struggles and the whole family. And so I think he had an opportunity or he was trying to use that opportunity to say my kids did something that other presidents’ children have not done and that they have served in the military.
Leahy: Yes. He was trying to make a political point there off of his late son Beau Biden who was the Attorney General of Delaware for a period of time. He died of cancer.
Swain: Right.
Leahy: Of course, he has another son.
Swain: Yes. I know. He’s also trying to redeem that son as much as possible.
Leahy: As he said we’re talking about Hunter Biden and you know, I suppose this a little bit unfair to pick on Hunter Biden because he has so many problems. But every time you turn around something stupid happens with Hunter Biden, case in point. You’ve written many books, Carol. Have you ever received a $2 million advance on any of your books?
Swain: Well, I’m not the offspring of a president or anyone of note. But no I have not.
Leahy: Well, let me stay let me correct that you are someone of note. And our listeners do your someone of note.
Swain: Well, thank you. Yeah, I’m a child of God. (Chuckles)
Leahy: Hunter Biden who has no discernible good talents that I can see. I mean he knows how to spend money. He knows how to get companies connected with the Chinese communist government to give him money to be compromised. He knows how to engage in all sorts of shall we say personable bad habits. Personal bad habits that have been well documented.
Swain: It’s not just Hunter Biden. Look at Liz Cheney. If Liz Cheney didn’t have the last name Cheney should not be in Congress and she certainly would not have survived the traitor action that she took when she voted with the Democrats as a leader.
Leahy: To impeach the president. Yeah. Again now let me just say this. I will say one thing in defense of Liz Cheney. She has not her personal conduct is not embarrassed her father at least as far as I can tell. There’s no personal impropriety there. There’s nothing but personal impropriety of Hunter Biden and because his dad is president he’s still involved in all these deals with China and Chinese Communist Party related deals. He still has ownership of them.
Swain: I know that is something that if we were applying the same standard to Democrats as we apply to Republicans that would be all the news. And when I referred to Liz Cheney, I was referring to the fact that people with the right last names and the right parents are able to get advantages that the rest of us are not privy to. Like $2 million book deals.
Leahy: Yeah.
Swain: And Chelsea. What did she get?
Leahy: Perhaps the worst piece of journalism NBC News has ever done. The most boring piece. She got paid $670,000. or something like that to do one little two-minute piece on the NBC Nightly News and it was awful. Awful. Now in the case of Hunter Biden, he’s getting two million bucks from Simon & Schuster which is the same publisher that canceled Senator Josh Hawley’s book. We have a caller that wants to talk to you, Carol. Elizabeth from Columbus, Ohio that wants to talk about the lack of transparency with Biden. Good morning Elizabeth, you are on The Tennessee Star Report.
Caller Elizabeth: I love you Carol Swain and I love you, Michael Patrick Leahy. Carol, I see you on TV on various FOX shows and I agree totally with what you are saying. We need someone with transparency. Biden has no transparency. And I do believe in my heart that Obama is pulling the strings behind all of these things that are going on now with the Biden administration.
Swain: Well I can tell you that the political left is very focused and coordinated. And they have an agenda and that agenda is to bring down America and it’s been working like clockwork.
Elizabeth: Yes. Yes, it has.
