I hope Biden really meant what he said when he advocated a new role for government in rescuing the U.S.’s crumbling rail and highway infrastructure, in speeding up vaccine distribution, and the like. His past de-facto Republican rightism still makes me skeptical, but I hope I am wrong about Biden.
