Republican senatorial candidate Bill Hagerty said this week that China should be held accountable for the Wuhan Coronavirus.
“The Wuhan coronavirus is officially a pandemic, and yet China continues to work overtime to conceal the origins and deflect any and all blame for this deadly illness — at the expense of the world’s health and our economy. While China withheld valuable, lifesaving information, President Trump endured partisan criticism as he took decisive action that helped slow the spread of the Wuhan coronavirus to the United States,” Hagerty said in a new column on Breitbart.com.
“President Trump was right to ban flights coming to the United States from China. When he made that decision over six weeks ago, Joe Biden — who has been dismissive of the threat posed by China and whose family has significant economic ties to the communist nation — criticized the President saying he was ‘fear-mongering’ and xenophobic. That’s a claim he reiterated this week when President Trump prudently announced a ban on flights from Europe. Leading medical experts have agreed the President’s decision was the right thing to do. China’s lack of transparency has come at great expense. China’s communist regime has not disclosed the truth about the onset, the magnitude, nor the loss of lives, and in doing so, has put the health of its own people and people across the globe at serious risk. The regime censored its own doctors from sharing information about the virus, and a Chinese diplomat has spread a rumor that the United States military brought the coronavirus to China.”
Hagerty went on to say that by hiding the truth and burying the facts, the Chinese dictatorship put the globe in danger.
“Indeed, the Chinese regime is more focused on running a public relations campaign than a public health campaign. And far too often our own media and like-minded liberals in Washington buy into this communist propaganda machine, criticizing some for calling it ‘the Wuhan coronavirus.’ This episode has also made clear that we are far too dependent on China for very strategic supplies, like the therapeutic and pharmaceutical drugs necessary to fight health crises like this virus,” Hagerty wrote.
“Make no mistake, this deadly pandemic started in Wuhan, China, and they should be held accountable. We cannot back down and let their propaganda machine rewrite history, covering up lack of human compassion that values regime control over human lives. From Huawei to unfair trade to oppressive human rights violations, China has been working to compromise our security, weaken our economy, and harm our society. Since taking office, however, President Trump is standing up to China and fighting back to level the playing field, secure our nation, and decrease our strategic dependency on China.”

China has had no deaths in the last two days. The shutting down of many of its carbon fuel-burning factories has actually brought about a reversal of air pollutiion–one of the few rosy signs during this emergency. To equate this virus with a certain ethnic group is dead-wrong, Hagerty. Your bigotry is causing innocent Chinese Americans to become targets of hate groups. You also cover up for Wall Street’s and the Pentagon’s role in helping to cause this pandemic. A hundred years ago, we erroneously called that disease epidemic the Spanish flu even though Spain was not the source of that virus. Spain’s only “crime” was reporting openly on the flue epidemic that ravished France and other countries of the world, including the U.S. Since Spain was neutral during that time of the First World War, it could report more honestly and freely on the subject than other countries who were still at war before the 1918 Armistice. Spain’s honest reporting made it the scapegoat of the rest of the world.

Bill Hagerty is absolutely right, China is the cause of this Pandemic being as widespread and as lethal as it has become.
Had China come forward from the very beginning by announcing to the world that a virus, The Wuhan Virus, had gotten away from them in their chemical/biological military weapons lab and had given all the particulars of the Wuhan Virus as knew it at that time, the world could have started preparing.
China should have immediately shut down travel to and from China, thus isolating the Wuhan virus to China as much as possible. Chins has the blood of every single person throughout the world that has died from the Wuhan Virus and they must be made to pay for that blood by the world!
It’s time to economically destroy China by isolate them from the world markets and it’s past time for America to start producing what is vital to our country, in our country, so we’re not dependent on anyone for those items.
