Congressman Mark Green (R-TN-07) sent a letter to President Joe Biden that called on the president to revoke his vaccine mandate executive orders.
According to Green, the two orders from Biden violate the law and should be removed after action taken by the judicial branch.
“I’m disappointed in the disregard for U.S. law that these executive orders display. The application of these executive orders flagrantly ignore multiple federal courts that have blocked them. These orders must be rescinded,” Congressman Green said in a statement.
Multiple federal judges have sought to block the broad mandates from Biden.
Most recently, U.S. District Judge Stan Baker halted one order that required contractors working with the federal government to receive the coronavirus vaccine. Opponents of the mandate argued that it is unconstitutional because it violates the Tenth Amendment.
Other rulings stopped the order for federal employees.
However, Green notes not every judicial ruling applies across the country. Therefore, the rulings have resulted in discrepancies across the U.S. where some federal employees and contractors are subject to comply with these measures and others are exempt.
“Simply put, if there are employees in some parts of the country still working without being vaccinated, how can you claim that nationwide mandates are necessary under an emergency process? The unequal application of justice and blatant inconsistencies of these orders are in stark contrast to both the letter and the spirit of U.S. law. I commend the judges who stood firm in their understanding of American jurisprudence,” Green wrote in his letter.
“As a physician and member of the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Crisis, I am confident that there is a way to support public health while staying true to our principles. I respectfully urge you to rescind these orders effective immediately.”

Mr. Green , or, Dr. Green , where is your letter for Biden to rescind the order for healthcare workers?? Being a physician, then, you should know that it is at this point widely demonstrated – worldwide- that these shots do not protect patients from getting COVID because healthcare workers get them. It has also been demonstrated that the shots cause serious side effects. You, Biden, and the part of the public who are still pushing that on healthcare workers are going to create a collapse of the healthcare system. There are not enough healthcare workers willing to subject themselves to that abuse. They are already burned out, and this will be the last straw. You cannot keep paying nurses with COVID shots 150.00+ an hour- and still not be able to find enough nurses- and expect the healthcare system to hold up.
Slow Joe will never do that. even if he thinks it will get overturned he still thinks (or his puppetmasters think) it will coerce companies to have their own mandates
