Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene to be the Featured Speaker at Wilson County GOP Trump Day Dinner

Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene will be the featured speaker of the Wilson County Republican Party Trump Day Dinner to be held Thursday, October 7 at the Farm Bureau Expo Center on East Baddour Parkway in Lebanon.

The provocative freshman and member of the House Freedom Caucus, Greene serves Georgia’s 14th District in the U.S. House which sits to the northwest of Atlanta and just south of Chattanooga, Tennessee and includes the cities of Dalton and Rome.

Shortly after being sworn in, Speaker Nancy Pelosi and House Democrats along with 11 Republicans voted to remove Greene from the Education and Budget committees to which she was appointed.

Greene used the extra time she had on her hands not having to attend committee meetings to learn House rules and procedures.  She has put that knowledge to use by calling for roll call votes on bills that would normally be voted on by voice votes, earning her criticism from Republicans and Democrats alike.

Greene appeared at former President Donald Trump’s rally Saturday in Perry, Georgia, where she called for a full audit of the November 2020 election.

As The Star News Network has reported extensively, there were numerous issues with chain of custody documentation related to absentee ballots deposited into drop boxes in Georgia counties, raising questions as to the validity of ballots that violated the State Election Board Emergency Rule 183-1-14-1.8-.14 that circumvented the state legislature in enabling the use of drop boxes for the presidential election.

Yes, Every Kid

“There’s something that all of us know in Georgia,” Greene told Trump supporters at Saturday’s rally. “Trump won Georgia, and that’s why I’m calling for an audit in Georgia. It’s time to do it. No more excuses.”

The Wilson County GOP annual event promises to be quite entertaining, with three special guests in addition to Greene.

Fellow Congressman John Rose, who represents Tennessee’s 19-county 6th District, which includes Wilson County, is one of the special guests.

Pastor of Music City Baptist Church in Mt. Juliet and Wilson County GOP Chaplain Ben Graham will also be joining the annual event in his home county.

Award-winning country music performer Joe Rucker will be providing the entertainment.  Since moving to Nashville in 1998, Rucker has released three albums and was inducted into the Nashville Chapter of the Academy of Local Musicians Hall of Fame.

Mt. Juliet-based gun manufacturer specializing in machining AR-15 lower receivers, Mossy Oak Armory, has donated an AR-15 that will be given away to an event or table sponsor

The dinner is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. and ticket price is $75 each.  A private reception with Greene starting at 5:30 p.m. is available with the purchase of an additional $250 ticket.

You need to go back to sleep Bill.

  2. William Delzell

Decent Tennesseans need to show up at her dinner or just outside where she’s having it for the purpose of disrupting it. Greene is a dangerous, deranged, traitor to her country!
