Davidson County GOP Schedules Outdoor Rally to Watch Donald Trump’s Acceptance Speech Thursday

Members of the Davidson County Republican Party have scheduled an outdoor rally to see a live feed of U.S. President Donald Trump’s acceptance speech at the GOP Convention Thursday night.

Organizers said that people who attend can watch the speech on a large screen.

According to eventbrite.com, organizers have scheduled the rally from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday at Fontanel, located at 4125 Whites Creek Pike.

People may buy tickets through Eventbrite.

Metro Nashville Metro At-Large Council Member Steve Glover announced the rally on his Facebook page this week.

“We know we’re the majority, but they think we’re silent. We’re going to make it loud and proud. Here is the great thing about ours’. It’s also a rally,” Glover said.

“We will come together as a team. There won’t be anything burned. There won’t be anything torn up. What we’re going to do is be unified. Then we’re going to cap the evening off with Trump’s acceptance speech.”

Organizers expect attendees to social distance and to bring their own chair. The event will feature live music. U.S. Republican Senate candidate Bill Hagerty is among the scheduled in-person speakers, Glover said.

Eventbrite said organizers will provide security.

“Absolutely no signage that is violent or ant-Trump or anti-Republican will be tolerated. If you violate this rule, you will be escorted off the property,” according to Eventbrite.

“All tickets are final sale – absolutely no refunds. All proceeds will go to cover the cost of the event and any additional funds will go to the Davidson County Republican Party.”

As The Tennessee Star reported this month, Glover said some people dislike the idea of the event because of the threat of COVID-19.

“People automatically assumed that I don’t believe in COVID or I don’t believe in social distancing or masks or blah, blah, blah. I don’t believe I said that. I said ‘follow the rules,’” Glover said at the time.

This is great stuff! I can see it now….Tonight’s main attraction is the Fontanel Rumble, featuring in this corner, “M-i-n-i” J-oh-n C-o-o-o-p-a-a-a. And in this corner, “S-t-o-n-e C-o-l-d” S-t-e-v-e G-l–v-a-a-a.

Mini “Goliath” Cooper and the anti-freedom, pro-anarchy, pro tax increase, police hating Nashville establishment” vs. Steve “David” Glover. What a picture! Political chess at it’s finest!

But who will the police side with? Someone who wants to “defund” them (Mini Cooper) or 1000+ “thin blue line” supporting Patriots?

And when Cooper tries to shutdown the event, there will be 1000+ people ready, willing and able to file a lawsuit against Mini Cooper. HYPOCRISY at it’s finest!

    See all ya’ll Thursday night!

Chicken coop Cooper and his puppet police chief will try to interfere with the GOP gathering. Pooper scooper Cooper is a rabid Democrap and a psycho! Cooper holding Nashville hostage, the commie-crat!

Perhaps Cooper will go on ocial meeting and suggest that some of his “peaceful protesters” to run interference for him and have his new police chief go “stand down”.
