Sen. Kamala Harris and fellow Democratic presidential candidates are calling for Congress to impeach sitting Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh after a report Saturday resurrected allegations against the justice.
“I sat through those hearings. Brett Kavanaugh lied to the U.S. Senate and most importantly to the American people,” the California senator said in a tweet Sunday. “He was put on the Court through a sham process and his place on the Court is an insult to the pursuit of truth and justice. He must be impeached.”

Harris was reacting to a story Saturday in The New York Times from reporters Robin Pogrebin and Kate Kelly, who authored a forthcoming book about the justice called “The Education of Brett Kavanaugh: An Investigation.” The pair reported they reached seven individuals who could further corroborate Deborah Ramirez’s accusation.
Other 2020 Democrats have made similar comments regarding the report. “It’s more clear than ever that Brett Kavanaugh lied under oath. He should be impeached,” former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julian Castro said on Twitter Saturday night.
“The revelations today confirm what we already knew: During his hearing, Kavanaugh faced credible accusations and likely lied to Congress,” Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders tweeted Sunday. “I support any appropriate constitutional mechanism to hold him accountable.”

Last year the Kavanaugh nomination was rammed through the Senate without a thorough examination of the allegations against him. Confirmation is not exoneration, and these newest revelations are disturbing. Like the man who appointed him, Kavanaugh should be impeached.

Another candidate was more circumspect. “My concern here is that the process was a sham. I don’t think you can look at impeachment hearings without getting the documents … and the attorney general is shielding documents,” Democratic Sen. Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota said in an ABC interview Sunday morning.
President Donald Trump, meanwhile, blasted the report and told his Twitter followers Sunday that Kavanaugh “should start suing people for libel.”

To paraphrase the old lawyer joke, “Q: How do you know when a Democrat is lying? A: When his/her lips are moving”
Incidentally, it’s incorrect to refer to these morons as “democrats” (lower-case “d”). That is someone who is a believer in democracy. A Democrat (capital “D”) is a member of the Democratic Party, which obviously has absolutely nothing to do with being a believer in democracy.
Instead of trying to impeach Kavanaugh, which can’t happen as long as Republicans hold a majority in the Senate, the House of Representatives should be impeaching some of the Federal judges and SC justices who violate their oath of office (to uphold the Constitution) repeatedly every time they try to re-write the Constitution or Federal laws from the bench.

The supposed victim of Kavanaugh doesn’t remember anything of the sort ever happening.
In other words, it is another bald faced lie by a democrat, this time by one one of the Clinton’s inner circle.
The real question is, “Do democrats ever quit lying?”
The answer is no, evidently not.
