Food Manufacturer Announces $2.2 Million Investment in Overton County

HealthVerve Food Manufacturing USA, Inc. officials announced Thursday that the company would invest $2.2 million to establish new manufacturing operations in Livingston. HealthVerve was founded in 2006 and is a high-value food manufacturer that specializes in canning processes and invests in research and development to bring wholesome and nutritional products to the public.

The company’s investment in Livingston is its first expansion outside its headquarters in Rancho Cucamonga, California. The new facility will “support HealthVerve’s overall production, allowing the company to meet and exceed its growing consumer demands for shelf-stable beverages,” according to a press release by the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development (TNECD).

“Companies choose to invest in Tennessee because of our state’s unmatched workforce and exceptional business climate,” Tennessee Governor Bill Lee said in a statement. “I thank HealthVerve for its commitment to job creation in the Upper Cumberland region and welcome this new brand to Tennessee.”

HealthVerve’s 2.2 million investment in Livingston is expected to create 212 new jobs in Overton County, TNECD notes.

Manufacturing is the largest industry in Overton County. The county is home to companies that make parts for internationally recognized brands – including Nissan, Caterpillar, and Honda. The county states on its website that manufacturing, engineering, and agribusiness industries chose Overton County because of its “low tax rate, affordable cost of doing business and property rates, as well as the endless water supply and fiber optics that run throughout the county.”

“Centrally located and home to more than 2,600 manufacturing companies, Tennessee is primed to welcome another great manufacturer like HealthVerve to the state. Livingston and Overton County will prove to be the ideal location for this company’s success, and we look forward to seeing the prosperity that will follow today’s announcement,” TNECD Commissioner Stuart McWhorter stated.
