Gino Bulso’s campaign in the August 4 Republican primary for House District 61 released poll results to The Tennessee Star on Sunday which show that he has a nearly 30 percent lead over his opponent.
“The international, award-winning political polling firm Cygnal has just released the results of its poll, conducted June 16-21, that shows conservative candidate Gino Bulso with a commanding lead over Republican primary opponent Bob Ravener in the State House race for District 61 in Williamson County. Bulso currently leads the race 46.3 percent to 17 percent, with 36.8 percent still undecided,” said Bulso’s campaign in a statement.
The poll surveyed 286 likely Republican primary voters and has a margin of error of 5.72 percent.
Commenting on the poll, Gino Bulso said, “We are thrilled that our message of fiscal responsibility and traditional family values has resonated so well with the voters. We still have much work to do, but many voters have already figured out who the true conservative is in this race. The results of Cygnal’s poll are encouraging and will fuel our efforts to work even harder to gain the trust of the voters in District 61.”
Bulso and Ravener are both running to succeed retiring State Representative Brandon Ogles.
The Star additionally reported that Bulso released a statement supporting the members of the Tennessee Army National Guard, more than 500 of whom entered a no-pay status, along with the loss of their health insurance and life insurance benefits, simply because they decided not to take the COVID-19 vaccine.
“When they joined the Tennessee Army National Guard, each one of these guardsmen took an oath to support and defend the Constitution of the State of Tennessee,” Bulso said. “Each has kept that oath.” “It is now time for the State of Tennessee to honor its commitment to support and defend these guardsmen, Bulso continued. “To allow these guardsmen to be punished in this manner for simply exercising their God-given right to medical freedom and autonomy is contrary to all the State of Tennessee stands for.”
“Without further delay, the Tennessee Attorney General’s office should mobilize to defend these brave guardsmen in court against the imprudent – and likely unlawful – August 24, 2021, vaccine order from the Department of Defense,” added Bulso.
Bulso has been endorsed by famous stock car driver Darrell Waltrip in the contest.
House District 61 consists of part of Williamson County, Tennessee.

Bulso is the conservative choice for the 61st. His opponent has been endorsed by an impressive array of centrists and tepid conservatives including Rep. Sam Whitson (ACU-78%) and Franklin Mayor Ken Moore. That’s all you need to know conservatives. VOTE BULSO!
