Nashville Mayor Announces Free Beers, Coffee for COVID Vaccine Recipients Only

A total of 37 Nashville businesses are offering free beers or coffee drinks now through the end of May – but only for those who’ve been vaccinated. Nashville Mayor John Cooper announced the campaign, “Shot for a Beer, Shot for a Cup,” in a press release on Friday.

Partners on the campaign are the mayor’s Hospitality Advisory Committee, the Nashville Convention and Visitors Corp, and HospitalityTN. Certain businesses require a purchase to acquire the free drink. The campaign announcement didn’t specify whether an individual could get more than one free drink.

The Tennessee Star inquired with Cooper’s spokespersons about whether there would be an exception made for those who can’t receive the COVID-19 vaccine due to medical reasons, and if the mayor’s office or any of the partnering groups were providing funding to the participating businesses to offset the costs associated with the free beverages.

Certain individuals may be allergic to COVID-19 vaccine ingredients, or to any vaccines or injectable medications. Additionally, certain individuals with autoimmune disorders may not be able to receive the vaccine. Current FDA authorization also restricts individuals under 12 years old from receiving the vaccine.

The mayor’s office didn’t respond by press time.

This campaign is part of a rising trend to reward vaccinated individuals with food. Krispy Kreme led the charge in a big way: they’re offering vaccinated individuals a free donut every day for the rest of the year. That campaign received widespread backlash, since a March CDC study revealed that nearly 80 percent of individuals hospitalized with COVID-19 were overweight or obese. Of those hospitalized with COVID-19, obese or overweight individuals were more likely to require more intense medical procedures and faced a greater risk of death.

Other major companies rewarding vaccinated individuals include: Shake Shack, Budweiser, and White Castle. Office Depot and Staples are also offering to laminate the vaccination cards for free.

Businesses interested in joining the Shot for a Beer, Shot for a Cup campaign can add themselves to the list by contacting Cooper’s senior advisor, Ben Eagles.

“HAY FOLKS”, Come one, come all,

Stand up against the wall and let the government take a “Shot” at you with their “Vaccine”.

HAY!!!, if you survive you get a free beer, or coffee, what more could you ask for????

Of course, if you don’t survive, Well, maybe your spouse can drink the beer or Coffee.

This plan in Nashville is bad, but what’s scary is the health department is now offering the foster kids in DCS and other kids in schools shots with out parent permission. This is against our state constitution! The health department is over stepping their authority, they do not have the legal right to do what they are doing. I hope people rise up against this.

I want a free box of 9mm cartridges so I can protect myself in this upside down crazy environment.

Just when I thought Cooper could not stoop any lower her proves me wrong. The guy and his unconstitutional mask mandate would be a joke if they had not hurt so many people.

Is there some way to challenge this in court?

Conservatives need to file lawsuits nonstop and give the left a bit of its own medicine.

So the Mayor is enticing people into a “healthcare decision”, a risky medical procedure, with free alcohol! When they drink that free first beer and maybe buy and drink a few more (why else would businesses be participating) is the Mayor and the business liable for a possible DUI injury or death result?

But then this has NEVER been about our health because the “health experts” advising the politicians have NEVER counseled any of the other things, such as good nutrition (Vitamin D, C, magnesium, zinc) exercise in fresh air and sunshine that are conducive to enhancing health and IMMUNITY!!

Cooper gave away the fairgrounds, he needs to be put out to pasture and retired.

Imagine…a vaccine so effective they have to bribe people to get it! When do we hit bottom on criminality of this scamdemic? Can they really go lower than this? I’m sure they’ll find a way!

How disgusting. All this madness over a virus that you have to take a test (not designed for virus testing) to know you have it and an experimental vaccine that you have to bribe people to take because it doesn’t keep you from getting the disease.

We mustn’t let Big Pharma, the Democrats and their oligarchy continue to enslave us. We have to throw off our masks. We must breathe freely and deeply. And not forget oxygen is good for us.

    How ridiculous!

Cooper is in the exact same situation as Biden. These Democrat politicians “sold out” everything to pander to the Leftists in this City and the Country. Now in Nashville and across the Nation, the Left is in panic mode! They have a problem, people are starting to wake up,!

  10. What about donuts? We want donuts too! The mayor certainly looks like he likes both beer and donuts. Can we get some donuts?

if you’re willing to trade taking an experimental gene therapy for a free beer then, well, you deserve the risk you are taking.
