Neil McCabe From OAN Joins the The Tennesse Star Report to Discuss Joe Biden’s 2020 Presidential Run

On Tuesday’s Tennessee Star Report with Steve Gill and Michael Patrick Leahy – broadcast on Nashville’s Talk Radio 98.3 and 1510 WLAC weekdays from 5:00 am to 8:00 am – Gill and Leahy talked to One America News Networks Neil McCabe about Joe Biden’s entry into the Presidential race of 2020 and how he is not receiving support from his former President, Barack Obama.

Gill: One America News Network is basically the last bastion for conservative news on television. And Neil McCabe with us to share some of the highlighted stories of the day. Good morning.

McCabe: Hey, good to be with you guys. And before we start I want to wish you both a very happy mothers day if I don’t get a chance to talk to you Sunday.

Gill: I get called a mother by a lot of people.

(Leahy laughs)

Gill: Oh, so by Neil by the way, you know Joe Biden is in the race and —

McCabe: He is a race.

(Laughter)

Leahy: I will also tell you, I know I was telling Steve about this I have a set of seven dwarf nicknames for him that your pretty used by the way if you read any stories about Joe. The seven dwarf nicknames for Joe Biden are, creepy, gropy, sleepy, dopey, sniffy, sloppy, and greedy.

(Laughter)

Gill: What do you make of Joe Biden.

McCabe: Well listen, he’s certainly embracing his opportunities that’s for sure.

Gill: You might add plagiary. Because he’s had a long history of plagiarism.

Leahy: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, that knocked him out of the 1988 presidential race. Boy this guy’s been around for a long time hasn’t he? He was elected when he was 29 to the United States Senate for Delaware back in 1968. Do you remember back then, Neil?

McCabe: Well no. Listen, my favorite time of the Joe Biden career is when he was carousing with Ted Kennedy and Senator Christopher Gowd.

Leahy: There’s a story coming here.

McCabe: Let’s just say there was this like crime wave of sexual assault and drunk driving and carousing going to Washington, D.C. and I’d love for those stories to come out.

Gill: The #MeToo movement that didn’t get any exposure. I guess you know the other big one is, does Joe Biden’s initial campaign bump last? He has moved decisively into the lead of the Democrat pack of the 20 something candidates for President. Does he withstand the scrutiny? Does he hold on to the lead? It looks like Bernie Sanders is going to come after him with tooth and tong to bring him back down. The others are wanting to bring him back down into the pack. Does he sustain his initial bump?

McCabe: Right now we’re in what I call the staff primary. Where are the top staffers going? Where are the experts, the consultants, the old hands… We saw that Kamala Harris got a lot of the Hillary Clinton people Beto O’Rourke got a lot of the Obama people. I’m getting a sense the O’Rourke people are going to jump ship.

If they jump ship to join Biden I think that’s a very good sign. I think a very good fit for Obama people to be with Biden because obviously he spent eight years in that administration and you know we’re going to have to see where those guys are going. Biden has not had a reputation as a great administrator of campaigns. He hasn’t been able to raise money. He hasn’t been able to come up with making a decision.

We saw that in his launch. His decision and announcement date were delayed and it was supposed to be over here and now it’s going to be over there. And then they said screw it, we’ll just put out a video. So, we’re going to have to see if he can be that decisive guy. And Barack Obama, I don’t think I agreed with any appointment or policies this guy had but when it came to politics the guy was an assassin and he certainly got the most out of his talents to become President of the United States and a very effective administration to the extent that his two greatest pieces of legislation and Obamacare are still the law of the land ten years out.

That guy does not want Biden to be president. That’s sort of the other primary. Who’s going to win the Barack Obama primary? Why isn’t Barack Obama standing with Biden?

Gill: Well I think one of the things that Biden has to deal with is that he brings all the Obama baggage and none of the Obama charisma. So he gets all the downside and none of the upside. Because as you see more of these investigations leading towards Obama era officials. Failures in the Obama administration.

You point out that Obamacare and Don Frank passed during that brief period when he had 60 Senate votes and after that was not able to accomplish anything. Get anything done because he didn’t reach across the aisle. You have areas of the world that have been an absolute catastrophe because they didn’t deal with him. You have Benghazi and you’ve had scandals. Again, Biden will get all the baggage and none of the benefit.

McCabe: And don’t get me wrong Steve, Obama’s foreign policy was basically set the world on fire. Bring the marshmallows. Leahy laughs. He was horrible.

Leahy: Yeah.

Gill: Yeah, but who doesn’t love a s’more.

McCabe: Ask an Obama official or an Obama surrogate. Name a foreign policy success. Go! It’s like it’s blank stares.

Gill: Well some would argue to Neil that he was extremely successful if you wanted to expand the Islamist empire. You wanted to expand terrorism around the world. You have to assume what side was he on? If you want to expand terrorism around the world he was extremely successful.

McCabe: His deal was Iran. That wasn’t an Iran nuclear deal. That was an alliance. He was flipping the polls and basically putting us on the side of the Iranians. And there was nothing that Obama did in foreign that did not line up with Iranian foreign policy goals. I mean, Libya, Egypt, Syria, Afghanistan. Go down the list. Getting back to Biden. Biden is another problem because of his own corruption.

Leahy: Hmmhmm.

McCabe: His son Hunter Biden who’s completely off the rails, right? Who pissed taught his first navy reserve drill for cocaine. And that career lasted all of a month. The guy couldn’t get past his first reserve drill. And Biden is making millions of dollars for corrupt company gas company in Ukraine that was being investigated by a prosecutor in Ukraine. Biden says, “I’m not going to authorize a billion dollar loan guarantee unless you fire this prosecutor.”

Leahy: Neil, we have thirty seconds left here. Tell us about One America News Network.

McCabe: One America News like you said is really the last alternative. People are coming up to me all the time saying they just cannot stand watching Fox News anymore and I understand why. You can find us on Direct TV. We’re on Verizon Fios. We’re on Centrelink. Prism. A ton of systems. But if your cable systems do not have One America News, you need to demand that they carry it.

Gill: Neil, thanks for being with us. I think Biden again has a lot of baggage to carry and so far Barack Obama is offering to help lift the load. We’ll see how that plays out as we move ahead.

Leahy: Talk to next week Neil.

If you don’t already have One America News Network, call your local cable provider and watch One America News here in Nashville, Middle Tennessee.
