Despite a massive media outcry, President Trump has continued to go out of his way to pin the blame for the COVID-19 pandemic on communist China.
A photo of the president’s notes taken during Thursday’s press briefing with the coronavirus task force, underscores that effort.

Trump on Wednesday fended off a reporter’s criticism by pointing out that the coronavirus “comes from China,” and “it’s not racist at all” to make note of that. “I want to be accurate,” he explained.
The president has insisted on referring to COVID-19 as the “Chinese Virus” in recent public appearances and tweets in an effort to combat Chinese propaganda blaming the United States for the spread of the deadly disease.
The coronavirus first appeared in Wuhan, China, in December, and the communist nation’s lack of action and ensuing cover-up facilitated its spread to the rest of the world.
Axios has compiled a timeline of the coronavirus outbreak in China, “highlighting when the cover-up started and ended — and showing how, during that time, the virus already started spreading around the world, including to the United States.”
Why it matters: A study published in March indicated that if Chinese authorities had acted three weeks earlier than they did, the number of coronavirus cases could have been reduced by 95% and its geographic spread limited.
This timeline, compiled from information reported by the Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post, the South China Morning Post and other sources, shows that China’s cover-up and the delay in serious measures to contain the virus lasted about three weeks.
The president formed a task force to combat the virus in late January, after the first case was confirmed in the U.S. in a man who had just returned from Wuhan, China.
Two days later, the Trump administration declared a public health emergency and announced restrictions on travelers arriving from China.
Chinese party officials, government representatives and state media have been peddling deliberate lies and conspiracy theories that blame the U.S. government for the COVID-19 outbreak, and in many cases, the U.S. media has been helping them spread their propaganda.

As a short follow up to my comments. This is what Pelosi and others are trying to tack on to the latest virus funding bill according to Fox News:
“These include new collective bargaining powers for unions, higher fuel emissions standards for airlines, and expanded wind and solar tax credits.”
What does this have to do with the intent of this bill? This is blatant partisan politics and I defy anyone disprove it! These people have no shame.
China has blood on its hands. China just happens to have a bio-safety level 4 (BSL-4) laboratory in Wuhan (the only one in mainland China). This level 4 laboratory is designed to research to most dangerous pathogens. Is it possible that COVID-19 escaped from this laboratory? As China has a less than stellar record of transparency it’s hard to believe anything their Communist government says. So, yes, this is the CHINESE virus that originated in China.
I said this before and I’ll say it again, this issue to being blown out of proportion for political reasons. Look at Pelosi, she tried to attach government funding for abortions to the first bill (which is illegal). Now she is holding up the latest bill as she accuses it of providing too much money for businesses. Really, who do you think employs people? The Left is demanding that the federal government nationalize certain businesses, that’s blatant socialism/communism. Whole state populations are having their constitutional rights stripped away when in reality the people who are actually most susceptible to infection make up a minority of the total population. Yes, lots of people are dying in Italy and other countries. Why, because there were large numbers of Chinese people traveling to and from these countries when in fact, at the outset of the virus, China should have shut down international travel, period. Not all nations populations are going to react the same way to this virus. Is it really in the best interest of our nation to continue to push our economy towards the edge of the cliff? The Liberal Left and the Main Stream Media are doing all they can to push their socialist agenda down the throats of Americans in the name of protecting us from this virus. There’s nothing the Left likes more than making all the decisions for us plebeians. Far more harm is being done, and will be done, to America and our economy. Criminal offenders are being let out prisons (incarceration is a favorite issue with the Left). You can be sure that these people are not going to behave themselves when they have no source of income nor can they buy any food. It’s no wonder firearms and ammunition sales are skyrocketing. The suppychain in our nation is drying up due to a lack of over the road truck drivers. Food cannot be delivered to stores fast enough to compensate for the hoarding going on due to peoples fear. This fear is being driven by the MSM and is going to get out of hand. Putting the entire nation in lockdown and just printing more money and giving it away is not going to do a damn thing except put us deeper in debt. Americans need to get back to work and the most vulnerable need to be protected. Thousands of people die from the common flu every year, and there is no hysteria over that. The greatest danger to America is NOT the virus, it’s our the reaction to it.
