Live from Music Row Thursday morning on The Tennessee Star Report with Michael Patrick Leahy – broadcast on Nashville’s Talk Radio 98.3 and 1510 WLAC weekdays from 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. – host Leahy welcomed all-star panelist and senior editor-at-large at The Epoch Times Roger Simon in-studio to review Pandemia: How Coronavirus Hysteria Took Over Our Government, Rights, and Lives by Alex Berenson and The Real Anthony Fauci, by Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.
Leahy: We are joined in studio by a good friend, all-star panelist, Roger Simon, editor-at-large with The Epoch Times. Roger, you’re a well-known, well-established writer, and we are going to present a great treat to our listeners. You’re going to review some books on COVID. There are three big books out there. Describe those books.
Simon: And one of them, Berenson’s book right now is being banned by Barnes and Noble. We used to think only Amazon did that. I mean, we’ve got a real problem of information in this country, to say the least.
But that’s the only part of the story of COVID. I mean, COVID as I was telling Michael during the break, will emerge as the greatest tragedy in the history of the United States. There’s no question about what it’s done to our children, particularly when you have kids at the age of three, wearing masks as they develop mentally and become retarded.
Think about that. What do three-year-olds learn from the expression of other three-year-olds when they’re locked in at home and wearing masks? It’s all over.
Leahy: I think there’s a huge generational problem with these kids.
Simon: It’s like a truck coming down the highway.
Leahy: And the kids are depressed because they can’t be normal kids and all of this stuff and most of it is just made up.
Simon: Yes. Anyway, there are three books out there that are selling a lot of copies, and they’re good. One is Berenson’s book.
Leahy: Alex Berenson, the former New York Times science reporter.
Simon: Who has his own substack. And the negative thing about the book is that the guy writes so much about this thing that there’s not that much new in the book. But there’s some new and it’s really worth reading.
Leahy: Is it a compilation of all his work on the science, a lot of that. By the way, Alex Berenson will be a guest on this program Monday at 6:15 a.m. You might find this of interest since you’re a New York City guy like he is. He went to the Horace Mann School.
Simon: That’s right.
Leahy: An elite kind of school up in New York. It’s in the Bronx.
Simon: Yeah, a lot of money. I know it well. Anyway, there are two other books out there there’s Scott Atlas, who is that doctor from Stanford, who was part of the team brought in by Trump later with Fauci and Birx inside the White House.
The thing that’s most interesting about Atlas’s book, and I recommend Atlas’ book highly, which is also having trouble with being banned by Amazon I’m told because we have the same agents. But here’s the interesting thing about his book.
It tells you what life was like inside the White House, much better than all those BS books like Omarosa and things like that, because Scott Atlas is a really smart and straight-arrow guy.
What’s interesting about that is that Trump never wanted lockdowns at all, but essentially Fauci and Birx, Birx particularly, and the CDC went around them and recommended them anyway.
So in other words Trump didn’t get what he wanted on this at all. But what Trump wanted was maybe better than what these I have to say, very dangerous medical figures.
Now, if you really want to think on how dangerous the medical figures were, the most powerful book of the three to me is RFK Jr’s book about The Real Anthony Fauci.
Leahy: Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. He was born, I think, in 1954, something like that. He’s 67 years old. He’s an attorney. He’s kind of been on the fringe of the political discussion for some time. But tell us about his book.
Simon: Well, this book is very long. It’s very detailed, and it makes Fauchi and Bill Gates too, but mostly Fauci, I hesitate to say this out loud, but almost seemed like an American version of Josef Mengele.
Leahy: I think a lot of our listeners probably are not surprised by that characterization of Dr. Fauci, especially when you look at the fact that he’s basically lying. As Rand Paul points out, that he did approve funding for gain of function in the Wuhan China lab that likely escaped.
Simon: But this book takes you back more into the past of Fauci and it’s even scarier because the guy had many instances of playing with human beings. It’s almost like he’s disconnected in the way that the Mengele comparison works.
Leahy: Give us an example of that.
Simon: Nothing is worse than Mengele, of course, because we can’t forget that Mengele gave candy to kids to experiment with them in Auschwitz. And then one day later, after the experiment was over, marched them into the gas chamber. Fauci didn’t quite do that.
However, there’s long discussions of Fauci with other kinds of similar things in the book. So he never connected human beings with what he was doing. And that’s what’s most amazing about it.
Leahy: So the book then by Robert F. Kennedy Jr., what’s the title of that of his book?
Simon: The title is The Real Anthony Fauci. And then there’s a subtitle.
Leahy: If I got it, the title, I’ve got it right here. The Real Anthony Fauci: Bill Gates, Big Pharma, and the Global War on Democracy in Public Health.
Simon: There are tremendous amount of connections there between the amount of money that is made by all these people and the ownership of all these patents on all these medicines that are owned by the government and owned in concert with Big Pharma.
In other words, if you work for the CDC, you are also working for Pfizer. In most cases, it’s so corrupt that you can’t even begin to describe it. And with our lives that are connected to all this.
There’s a lot of passages about Ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine and how effective they were in treating COVID. Listen, I’m someone who’s done both. I took the vaccines very early on, and then when I was exposed to it by people close to me, I took Ivermectin.
I have never been sick in this whole period. The person I know who took Ivermectin who was not vaccinated got better in about four days.
Leahy: Now, back to the Kennedy book. It was published by Skyhorse on November 16th. Skyhorse is not exactly a mainstream publisher, right?
Simon: I’ve never heard of it.
Leahy: I’ve heard of them, but it’s not exactly a vanity press, but it’s just a grade up from a vanity press. However, at Amazon, published November 16th by this obscure publisher, Robert F. Kennedy’s book is now on Amazon. Wait for it…number four.
Simon: Well, wait a minute. A week ago, it was number one.
Leahy: Wow.
Simon: Yeah. No, it’s being read. I think a lot of that is due to a lot of attention from Tucker Carlson. People are reading it, and I’ll tell you something, it’s not a quick read.
Leahy: Allen Dershowitz praises it. Tucker praises it. Tony Robbins praises it.
Simon: What does that mean? I know who he is.
Leahy: Oliver Stone praises it. (Chuckles) Naomi Wolf.
Simon: Oliver is an old friend of mine. Oliver is not stupid. He’s just crazy. (Laughs)
Leahy: There’s a big difference. A lot more of that when we get back. Ladies and gentlemen, Oliver Stone, not stupid. Just crazy. I like that one, Roger. This is why our audience loves hearing from you.
