Tennessee Lawmakers Condemn Russia’s Assault on Ukraine

Members of Tennessee’s congressional delegation swiftly and uniformly condemned Russian leader Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine.

While speaking out against the acts of violence and violation of Ukraine’s sovereignty, many of the federal leaders called for a harsh response from President Joe Biden and other world leaders.

Congressman Mark Green (R-TN-07) has remained a staunch critic of Putin and his actions. Previously, he introduced legislation to sanction the country for its activity in the Donbas region of Ukraine. Furthermore, during a recent trip to Kyiv, he expressed united support for the country.

“Vladimir Putin’s end goal has been on display for some time now. Instead of swift, crippling sanctions, the Biden administration chose the wait-and-watch approach. In the midst of destabilizing Russian aggression, the time for action was months ago. We all witnessed Putin’s false-flag propaganda play out—just like U.S. intelligence officials predicted. This invasion has been anticipated for weeks,” said Congressman Green, a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee.

“As the world witnesses this invasion, our prayers remain with our fellow Americans on the ground in Eastern Europe — including those from Fort Campbell — and with the brave people of Ukraine. Vladimir Putin has chosen devastation over democracy, and the free world will not forget it.”

In recent weeks, tensions between the two countries have continued to climb. Putin on Wednesday launched an invasion into the neighboring country, largely without reason.

In the legislative branch’s upper chamber, Senators Bill Hagerty and Marsha Blackburn expressed the gravity of the situation, with Blackburn calling the move “war crimes.”

“President Biden’s strategy to prevent Russia’s invasion has failed. He must now recognize the gravity and severity of this moment and do everything in his power to protect the safety and security of the American people,” Hagerty added in a tweet.

I got some advice for these three Tennessee Republicans who want a military confrontation with Putin: enlist yourselves for dangerous front-line duty before you force a single U.S. military person to risk his or her life over there! Well, maybe Mark Green has already done dangerous combat duty in previous wars, but Marsha Blackburn hasn’t! Let’s force HER to fight over there whether she likes it or not. That would cure her of her bellicosity, but fast!

CMinTN, so you’re saying we somewhat don’t care about Ukraine but there’s room to care even less??? How does that make any sense?

Voice from the back of the room yells: It’s, couldn’t care less…….

These establishment RINOs must be tone deaf. They keep pushing for a war no one wants except their C.o.C. and W.E.F. handlers. Most of us could care less about Ukraine. Our lying politicians did this to themselves when we renigged on our promise not to advance worthless NATO right up to Russia’s borders after the wall fell. Instead of thumping your chests and measuring you manhood with each other you need to look at what has led up to this.

We are now hearing about American ran bio weapons labs in Ukraine, (Wuhan anyone?). This cocky attitude towards every other country not aligned with the grifters’ gravy train is going to bring pain and ruin to everyone. These crooked politico’s running our country and our Euro lap-dog allies need to face consequences for what they have done. They are rapidly losing the consent of the governed and all that entails.
