Tennessee Representative John Rose to Host Second Annual Rose Family Farm Fish Fry on September 17

Tennessee Representative John Rose (R-TN-06) announced in a Thursday press release that he will host his Second Annual Rose Family Farm Fish Fry on September 17 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Rose Family Farm in Lancaster.

The event is family friendly, with live music plus games and activities for children.

The Rose Family Farm is the oldest farm in Smith County and was settled in 1790 by John and Ann Williams Lancaster. Congressman Rose is the eighth-generation owner and operator of the property, according to the release by Rose’s office.

“I am looking forward to the second annual Rose Family Farm Fish Fry next month,” Representative Rose said in a statement about the upcoming event. “It was a great success last year, and we are excited to have everyone out to the family farm for some great food, fellowship and family fun. If you haven’t already, make sure to save the date and purchase tickets. Chelsea and I would love to see you and your family there.”

Tickets for the Second Annual Rose Family Farm Fish Fry are available now online for $15 or can be purchased the day of the event for $20. Children 5 years and under can attend at no cost.

Representative John Rose is running for re-election this year in Tennessee’s 6th Congressional District and will be on the November 8th general election ballot. He advanced from the Republican primary on August 4, 2022, unchallenged by another Republican. In November, he will be running against Democrat candidate Randal Cooper, who won the Democratic primary election on August 4th against candidate Clay Faircloth.
