Tomi Lahren of FOX Nation will join the Trump Republican National Convention acceptance speech watch party in Nashville on Thursday evening.
Lahren, who moved to Nashville several months ago from Los Angeles, recently referred to Mayor John Cooper as a “little tyrant” in a near five-minute rant during her Final Thoughts segment that called out the orders, arbitrary mandates, closures and curfews handed down by the Democrat.
Metro Council Member-At-Large Steve Glover told The Tennessee Star of Lahren’s planned attendance at the watch party Tuesday evening.
Almost two weeks ago, Glover said he wanted to have a watch party for Trump’s acceptance speech as the party’s nominee for president at the GOP convention.
While some people took issue with holding a public event due to COVID-19, Glover said any location for the event would allow for social distancing guidelines.
The event, now a combined rally and protest sponsored by the Davidson County Republican Party, has been scheduled for Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at Fontanel on White’s Creek Pike in Nashville.
The event will give Trump supporters an opportunity to rally together in support of the GOP nominee for president and for a Red Tennessee.
As the event page says, the Democrat Party has politicized COVID-19, while ignoring the epidemic of the economic crisis.
Nashville’s business owners, entrepreneurs and musicians are suffering from the unprecedented and ongoing shutdown, on top of being saddled with a hefty 34 to 37 percent property tax increase.
In light of that, Thursday’s event is also a protest in support of Music City musicians who formed Let Us Work Music City to petition Governor Bill Lee and Cooper to end the state of emergency and let people get back to work.
Live music and food from local food trucks will be available.
Entertainment will include Sinatra tribute artist Lou Galtiero performing his amazing and moving rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner” as well as State Senator Jack Johnson’s band The Austin Brothers.
Country singer and songwriter Kenny Lee, known for Trump’s 2016 campaign song “Trump Card” and 2020 campaign songs “We’re All Trumped Up” and “The Flag,” will also be performing with his band.
State Senator Ferrell Haile, as well as State Representatives William Lamberth and Susan Lynn, will be speaking.
Attendees will be able to watch Trump giving his acceptance speech via live feed on big screens.
