White House Condemns Tennessee Governor Bill Lee for Signing Bills That Ban Drag Shows, Sex-Change Operations for Minors in the State

The White House condemned Tennessee Governor Bill Lee for signing two pieces of legislation this week that regulate drag shows and ban minors from getting sex-change operations.

On Thursday, Lee signed SB3/HB9, which outlaws drag shows in public spaces and restricts them to age-appropriate venues, and SB1/HB1, which prohibits minors from receiving puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and transgender surgeries.

The bills have long been criticized by progressive groups, including the American Civil Liberties Union of Tennessee, which has since threatened legal action.

On Friday, when asked by a reporter what the White House makes of the pair of bills signed by Lee, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre argued that the bills do nothing to address “real issues that are impacting American people.”

Citing policy topics including inflation, education, and the economy, Jean-Pierre said, “The American people are focused on so many issues,” adding, “But instead of doing anything to address those real issues that are impacting American people, right now you have a governor from Tennessee has decided to go after drag shows.”

She continued, adding, “What sense does that make to go after drag shows? How is that going to help people’s lives who are thinking about the economy, who are thinking about making sure their kids are going — are going to be safe when they go to school or their communities are safe? But that’s what he wants to focus on.

In addition, Jean-Pierre called the enactment of the bills “unacceptable” and “unfortunate.”

When asked what the White House’s “message to the LGBTQ youth in the state, as well as drag performers” was, Jean-Pierre re-affirmed President Joe Biden’s support for the LGBTQ community.

“The President always has been very clear when it comes to vulnerable communities, like the LGBTQ community, that he has their backs,” Jean-Pierre stated.

There is no one forcing the Groomers to live in Tennessee. I say move to CA, I’m sure they will love it there. I’m so tired of even hearing people say LBGTQIA as if I’m supposed to bow to them or something. The bullying by the Marxists lost the “Racist” lie, so now they want good Americans to bow to their devil. Ain’t happening in Tennessee.
You are done trying to turn our children into pervs.
KJP was expressing her sick beliefs in her devil.
    Just stay out of Tennessee.

So many people are sick to death of getting the gay/lesbian/trans whatever life style cramned in their faces. If they could live their lives and leave others alone it would not have come to this. And you do not get to expose other peoples’ children to that- piss off the mama bears – see what you get.

The globe encompassing billion dollar political/corporate corruption, of which the Biden family is a part, depends on numerical majorities of greed and stupidity hoping to self enrich with the left’s political exploitation of productively working people.
So course, racketeering tax and regulations empowere Biden would condemn any opposition to his political agenda of legally exploiting and suppressing all productively working Americans, to pay for unearned and unjustifiable benefits for himself, his colluding corporate buddies and his constituency of greed and stupidity.

Neither does Biden nor his constituency of legalized thieves care about anything or anyone, but getting something for nothing. Nor does today’s devastating social and economic degeneration caused by their socialist welfare state politics concern either Biden or his voters, as confirmed by their deceitful attribution of its cause to an unpracticed, non-existent “capitalism,’ so as to continue to legally steal as “resolution” to theft.

I have to applaud Mr. Lee for doing what is right; and also the Assembly for finally having the guts to pass some strong legislation. I sincerely hope that there is more to come but I am skeptical.

The Biden administration needs to keep its mouth shut. This is an issue for Tennesseans and not a liberal president wanting to kiss up to every special interest group for the purpose of getting votes.

Of course those degenerate federal pigs are upset, they get their energy from preying on children.
