Arizona Legislative District 17’s Freedom Team Endorses Donald Trump for President

The Arizona Freedom Team of Legislative District 17 officially endorsed former President and current presidential candidate Donald Trump in his run for United States President in 2024.

On Thursday, State Senator Justine Wadsack (R-Tucson) and State Representatives Cory McGarr (R-Tucson) and Rachel Jones (R-Tucson) released a joint statement officially giving their endorsement for United States President to Trump.

According to the lawmakers, the United States has become unrecognizable since Trump left office, and the nation needs a president who will put America first.

“We are proud to endorse Donald J. Trump for President. Our country has become unrecognizable since he left office, and we need real leadership in Washington who will restore our values, defend our constitution, and take America back from the corrupt socialists destroying our way of life,” the lawmakers said.

The legislators said that under the Biden administration, the nation has declined, resulting in skyrocketing debt and increased illegal immigration and drug trafficking.

“The radical Biden regime has failed to secure the southern border, address America’s skyrocketing debt, protect families from the fentanyl epidemic, and combat crippling inflation,” the lawmakers said.

The lawmakers said that only Trump has the experience and the ability to fight back against the corrupt woke agenda.

“We need a President who has the experience and the ability to fight back against the corrupt woke agenda, ignore the mainstream media’s demands, and put America first again. We need a leader who can’t be bought by foreign nationals and doesn’t need to weaponize the justice system against political opposition. We are proud to give Donald J. Trump our full and total endorsement,” the Freedom Team of Legislative District 17 said.

According to Jones, “Donald J Trump is the only one who can fix this disaster and help save America.”

McGarr said that the nation needs Trump back in office in 2024.

“Only Donald Trump has a record of fixing what the left has broken. We need him again in 2024,” McGarr said.

Trump announced in November 2022 that he would again seek the presidency in 2024.

Trump said he is running again because the nation can be so much more than it currently is.

“I am running because I believe the world has not yet seen the peak of what this nation can be. We have not reached that pinnacle,” Trump said.

Trump is one of 11 Republican candidates for President of the United States, some of which include Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, Ohio biotech entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, former Vice President Mike Pence, former South Caroline Governor Nikki Haley, South Carolina U.S. Senator Tim Scott, and former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie.

According to a recent Morning Consult poll, Trump has secured a significant lead over the other Republican candidates gaining 56 percent of the vote.
