Unemployed Man in Franklin, TN ‘Donated’ Nearly $16,000 to ActBlue Through More than 2,600 Individual Contributions

According to Federal Election Commission (FEC) records, Gerald McAteer, an unemployed man in Franklin, Tennessee, made 2,629 individual contributions to Democrat PAC ActBlue, totaling $15,928.24, since the beginning of 2024.

At the time of this writing, McAteer, over the past 588 days, has contributed to ActBlue an average of 4.47 times per day for an average of just over $6 per donation, or a little more than $27 per day.

Most, if not all, of the donations are suspected “ghost donations” made fraudulently on behalf of McAteer, likely without his knowledge.

The company is facing increased scrutiny that it might be laundering foreign donations or other nefarious donations through unknowing people. It has also been flagged for suspiciously not collecting three-digit security CVV codes from donors’ credit cards, which, in theory, means that donations could be made with prepaid debit cards.

The Tennessee Star reached out to a phone number associated with McAteer, but it was disconnected.

The Star reported Monday on another anomalous donation pattern to the PAC made by Margaret Maher, a 68-year-old woman who is also listed as “Not Employed.”

According to documents filed with the FEC, she has donated almost $33,000 to ActBlue, the left-wing’s largest PAC.

Maher made a total of 4,200 individual donations over the past 20 months.

When attempting to reach her for contact, The Star found that her phone, too, was disconnected.

ActBlue has not returned any comment requests from The Star.

Numerous elected officials, like Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL), have demanded FEC investigations into ActBlue’s potential fraud, but the FEC has yet to take action.

“It should come as no surprise that ActBlue serves as a vessel for fraud, considering the intentional lack of security engrained within their donation processes and systems,” Rubio said last year.

In the coming days, The Star will continue investigating the “ghost donations” allegedly made by five other Tennesseans. Each supposedly donated to ActBlue more than 1,000 times in the past 588 days.

The left has no rules. Win anyway possible. Easy when you know only yourself as god.

People today are being sued for everything “under the sun”,
    So I have a suggestion.
Gerald McAteer should find himself a good lawyer and sue “ACT BLUE” for every penny they “Falsely Accused” him of donating, and a few Million for “punitive damages” to his “Good Name”.

It shouldn’t be hard to bankrupt Act Blue with all the evidence that has been coming out against them.

A “Class action” could result in “Millions” for lawyers and clients.

  3. Chad Bobo is a ghost candidate

THATS NOT THE ONLY WAY THEY ARE CHEATING.
A stranger ( Chad Bobo) is on the ballot in th States 60th House District as a Republican. The seat is open due to the retirement of Darren Jernigan (D), who decided to take a position in the Mayor’s Office, where I assume he will now be lobbying people like Chad Bobo in the House for the Mayor.
You go to the stranger’s website, & there is a very glowing description about a man identified as Chad Bobo. Problem is there are no details. No one knows where the man lives, no picture of his family, no names of businesses he worked for. No schools where he went. No phone number to call. It lists a woman as his Campaign Treasurer, but no way to reach her. Nothing about whether he supports President Trump.
He says he is a Republican, but when I tried to find out anything about him from Davidson County GOP, I got no response.
    He is a ghost.
I’ve never seen a Republican campaign like this. This is more like a Democrat-style campaign.
Are Democrats just moving people to Districts that have open seats, & running as Republicans? I just have a bad feeling about this guy.
I do not vote for people I don’t know.
If he won’t respond to emails now, I would not expect him to respond to Constituent phone calls or emails if he were to win.

They certainly act like blue Democrats. That foreign cash will not spend itself.

  5. KAREN BRACKEN

I hope that all of these people that have been used by ACTBLUE now see how dirty and corrupt the Democrat party is and will wake up and stop voting for them. If not then they get what they deserve.

It’s a criminal conspiracy masquerading as a political party.

So all this is public record. Does the FEC not even mine it’s own data for such as this?

Corrupt democrats. But I repeat myself.
