In an act of opposition against former President Donald Trump, former Vice President Mike Pence will rally with Gov. Brian Kemp (R) on the eve of Georgia’s primary election day.
Kemp confirmed the news on his Twitter account, saying he was “honored” to have Pence’s support.
Former President Donald Trump released a short statement Friday highlighting a story about the net worth of his political rival Gov. Brian Kemp (R), which has reportedly grown by millions since he took office.
“ICYMI: “Kemp’s net worth grew by more than $3M since he took office” said the headline from Trump’s statement.
According to a Federal Elections Commission (FEC) filing, former President Donald Trump’s Save America Political Action Committee (PAC) has donated $500,000 to an effort to take down Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp (R).
The filing shows that Trump’s PAC donated the money to an anti-Kemp PAC called Get Georgia Right.
