The Arizona rancher who was accused of murdering a Mexican national who illegally immigrated to the United States is unlikely to accept any plea deals offered by prosecutors after his case ended in a mistrial, according to Wednesday remarks by his attorney.

Kathy Lowthorp, one of the attorneys who represented rancher George Alan Key after prosecutors charged him with second-degree murder for allegedly killing a Mexican national who trespassed onto his property, said in a Wednesday interview with NewsNation’s Cuomo that her client would be unlikely to accept a plea deal if prosecutors move for a retrial.

The recent revelation that the Biden administration has arranged for more than 380,000 illegal immigrants to fly into the United States, primarily to Florida and Texas, comes as Republicans in Congress demand answers about American airports being used to house them.

A Monday analysis of illegal immigrant flights by the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) found 386,000 have been allowed to enter the country illegally through airports by the Biden administration. CIS found the majority of illegal immigrants chose Florida airports as their destination.

Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares on Wednesday blamed the Biden administration for “refusing to fix” the illegal immigration crisis after two illegal immigrants were arrested for sex crimes against children in the commonwealth.

The attorney general made remarks about the illegal immigration crisis following the arrest of Isauro Garcia Cruz and Renzo Mendoza Montes, who are both illegal immigrants accused of crimes against children.
