Dr. Manny Sethi, the Vanderbilt orthopedic trauma surgeon who ran to represent Tennessee in the U.S. Senate, is hosting a free health fair and food distribution on Saturday in Murfreesboro through his non-profit, Healthy Tennessee.

“This is our first health fair after the COVID epidemic, and we could not be more excited to get back to Tennessee communities and share better health practices with everyone. We have held dozens of health fairs, summits, statewide seminars and symposiums from one end of the state to the other for a decade. On Election Eve, Donald Trump Pushes One More Time for Bill Hagerty

On Wednesday, one day before Thursday’s GOP primary, U.S. President Donald Trump held another tele-town hall for U.S. Senate candidate Bill Hagerty, whom he endorsed last year.

“I went to Bill. I said we need your help. I want you to be on our transition team. I appointed him as ambassador to Japan. And he was truly one of our best. He was an incredible ambassador to Japan. They still talk about Bill. He really became legendary over there, and that is why we are doing this next step,” Trump said during a six-minute call.

Manny Sethi Says Trump Should Fire Dr. Anthony Fauci; Bill Hagerty Says President Can Manage His Own Staff, Chinese Communist Party Responsible for COVID-19

U.S. Senate candidate Manny Sethi on Monday called on U.S. President Donald Trump to fire Dr. Anthony Fauci, and he also blasted Facebook and Twitter for censoring information about the use of hydroxychloroquine.

This, according to a press release that Seth sent via email.

“I’ve had about enough of this guy Fauci. If I’m President Trump, I call Dr. Fauci into the Board room and tell him, ‘You’re fired,” Sethi said.

“Instead of having a plan to protect the most vulnerable among us and allowing us to get to herd immunity, he called for total lockdown. His plan did incredible damage to our economy. Fauci failed, and now he wants us to double down on failure again by completely destroying what’s left of our economy.”

U.S. Senate candidate Bill Hagerty, Sethi’s opponent, told The Tennessee Star in an email Monday that he does not believe Fauci has done a good job advising Trump.

Joe Carr Commentary: Sethi vs. Hagerty – An Obvious Choice

In 2014 I ran for the United States Senate against well-known and established incumbent Lamar Alexander. Our underfunded and understaffed campaign garnered over 271,000 votes. The largest vote total of any statewide campaign to that point and not win an election. When we lost in 2014, I thought it was over. I was wrong! We were just getting started.

Fast forward to 2020 and Tennessee once again can send a constitutional conservative to the United States Senate to stand alongside President Donald Trump. Dr. Manny Sethi is that man.

Jeff Hartline Commentary: I Choose Swamp Disruptor, Dr. Manny Sethi

Tennessee voters are faced with a significant choice this election cycle for U.S. Senate.  Will they choose a Lamar Alexander 2.0 candidate or will they opt for the Trumpesque outsider, Dr. Manny Sethi?

Yes, we all know that his opponent ceaselessly touts his Trump endorsement, which was understandably given as a result of his assistance in Tennessee during the 2016 election cycle.  I’m pleased to see the broken clock get one right.  After all, he ceaselessly promoted Trump’s major nemesis in the Republican senate Caucus, Mitt Romney in two previous Presidential runs.  His previous endorsements of Jeb Bush and campaign contributions to Al Gore remind us all where he has been the majority of his “political” career.  Welcome aboard, finally, Mr. Hagerty.
