Former President Trump continued his romp through the Republican primary, easily winning all but one Super Tuesday contest and demonstrating a dominance so absolute that his stacked victories now seem nearly routine.

“We want to have unity,” Trump told a crowd gathered at Mar-a-Lago, “and we’re going to have unity, and it’s going to happen very quickly.” On the eve of perhaps the greatest political comeback in modern American history, his remarks were relatively subdued by his standards. He never mentioned his former UN ambassador, Nikki Haley, almost as if the competition did not exist and a third nomination was guaranteed all along.

Biden Supporter Taylor Swift Encourages Americans to Vote on Super Tuesday

A popstar and noted supporter of President Joe Biden encouraged Americans to get out and vote on Super Tuesday, the day with the most presidential primary elections in the country. 

“Today, March 5, is the Presidential Primary in Tennessee and 16 other states and territories. I wanted to remind you guys to vote the people who most represent YOU into power,” Taylor Swift told her 282 million followers in an Instagram story. “If you haven’t already, make a plan to vote today. Whether you’re in Tennessee or somewhere else in the US, check your polling places and times at vote.org.”

His daily use of stairs now risks the chance of a tenure-ending fall. Even when he sticks to the teleprompter, he so slurs his speech, mispronounces words, and glides his syntax that at times he becomes as incomprehensible at the podium as he is unsteady in his step. Tennessee Secretary of State Certifies Presidential Candidates for 2024 Super Tuesday Ballot

The Tennessee Secretary of State’s Office announced it certified the names of nine Republicans and one Democratic presidential candidate for the Super Tuesday Presidential Preference Primary and County Primary Election.

The 2024 Tennessee presidential primary will be held on the same day as primaries in 14 other states on March 5, 2024, known as Super Tuesday.

Iowa Democrats Cave to DNC, Will Move Caucus Results to Super Tuesday

The Iowa Democratic Party caved to the Democratic National Committee’s (DNC’s) plan, and will push back releasing its 2024 caucus results until Super Tuesday, according to a letter obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation.

The move follows the DNC’s previously announced proposal, endorsed by President Joe Biden, to shift the 2024 calendar, replacing Iowa’s first-in-the-nation nominating status with South Carolina, whose Democratic primary will be held on Feb. 3. Iowa Democrats will still hold its in-person caucus on Jan. 15, but will produce its presidential preference results on March 5, when over a dozen states hold their nominating contests, according to the letter sent by Iowa Democratic Party Chair Rita Hart to the DNC’s Rules and Bylaws Committee.

Georgia’s Republican Secretary of State Foils Democrats’ ‘Diverse’ Primary Plans

Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger has set the Peach State’s 2024 party primary elections for March 12, foiling the Democratic National Committee’s plans to move Georgia’s vote toward the front of the presidential nominating line.

Raffensperger says the DNC acted “unilaterally” in its bid to make their nominating process more “diverse” by bumping predominantly white states like Iowa and New Hampshire back and pushing more “racially inclusive” states like Georgia and Michigan to the front of the primary line.

FRANKLIN, Tennessee – Hollywood actress Ashley Judd was in Franklin Monday to stump for Democratic presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren, one day before Tennessee participates in Super Tuesday.

Judd met with other Warren supporters at a home in Franklin. Afterwards, they broke up into different groups and went door-to-door to other people’s homes to encourage them to support Warren on Tuesday.

  As part of “Super Tuesday,” Tennessee will begin early voting Wednesday, February 12 in the 2020 presidential preference primary. Super Tuesday refers to the single day that the highest number of U.S. states and territories hold a presidential primary or caucus during a presidential election year. In the 2020 presidential election year, Super Tuesday will be held on March 3. In Tennessee, early voting starts this Wednesday and runs through Tuesday, February 25. Tennessee joins 14 other jurisdictions holding a primary event on Super Tuesday, according to Ballotpedia, including Alabama, America Samoa, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah, Vermont and Virginia. With California and Texas – the two most populous states – holding their primaries on Super Tuesday, more than one third of the U.S. population is expected to vote on March 3, Ballotpedia predicts. In a December 19, 2019, letter to county election commission offices, Secretary of State Tre Hargett certified the presidential candidates on the presidential preference primary ballot.
