City Journal A few years ago, Texas Children’s Hospital made no secret of its support for transgender medicine. Its doctors proudly administered puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and other medical interventions to children who self-identified as “trans.” Then the tone shifted. In the face of public pressure, CEO Mark Wallace announced that he was shutting down the child gender clinic. But doctors at the hospital, including Richard Ogden Roberts, David Paul, and Kristy Rialon, never stopped. The public would not have known if not for a courageous surgeon, Eithan Haim, who felt morally obligated to expose the subterfuge. State Attorneys General have a duty to sue the city and state of New York, which rewrote federal election and state business records law to interfere with the 2024 election, throw former President Donald Trump in jail and disenfranchise tens of millions of Americans’ right to vote for their choice for President, all in violation of the Supremacy Clause under Article VI.
Under the doctrine of preemption, states have no power, zero, to rewrite federal election laws, let alone to enforce them. States have original jurisdiction under Article III, Sec. 2 to all “controversies between two or more states,” and Attorneys General have an obligation under the federal and state constitutions to ensure that one state cannot determine the outcome of any presidential election in this manner.

Catholic News Agency A federal judge ruled to remove the requirement that women have three in-person doctor visits before receiving a chemical abortion drug. The judge approved at-home chemical abortions and allowed any North Carolina health care provider to prescribe the abortion pills. The decision also removes reporting requirements for nonfatal complications from abortion drugs. U.S. District Judge Catherine Eagles upheld some protections such as requiring an in-person consultation, examination, and ultrasound before obtaining a prescription for the drugs required for chemical abortions. While abortion advocates have hailed this as a victory, Christian organization North Carolina Values says the ruling may put women at risk by allowing “dangerous DIY in-home abortions” and put women at risk of forced chemical abortions, when abortion pills are smuggled into a mother’s drink without her knowledge or consent.
