Lindsay Clancy was back in Plymouth Superior Court Tuesday for the first time since her high-profile Massachusetts murder trial ended in a mistrial due to a hung jury on Sept. 4.
Prosecutors did not specifically say if they will retry Clancy, and if so, on what charges, however during Tuesday’s hearing both sides discussed setting a retrial date with Judge William Sullivan.
Clancy’s attorney told the judge there’s “no evidence” his client admitted to strangling her children, though during trial he argued only that she wasn’t criminally responsible for her actions due to postpartum psychosis.
