President Trump’s Message to Tennesseans: ‘GO VOTE at the Polls RIGHT NOW’

President Donald Trump

President Donald Trump urged Tennesseans to vote for Republicans across the ballot in the November 3 general election, calling on voters to participate in early voting.

“TENNESSEE! Early Voting, in-person, is UNDERWAY NOW in the Great State of Tennessee,” Trump wrote in a post on X on Thursday.

“If you have a mail-in ballot, return it immediately and, if not, GO VOTE at the Polls RIGHT NOW, and get everyone you know to VOTE FOR THE REPUBLICAN IN EVERY RACE, UP AND DOWN THE BALLOT!” he added.

Trump shared a list of Republican candidates he endorsed in Tennessee, including U.S. Senator Bill Hagerty (R-TN), who is seeking another term in the Senate, and U.S. Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), the Republican nominee for governor.

The president has endorsed Republican congressional candidates across all nine of Tennessee’s U.S. House districts, including incumbent U.S. Reps. Diana Harshbarger (R-TN-01), Tim Burchett (R-TN-02), Chuck Fleischmann (R-TN-03), Scott DesJarlais (R-TN-04), Matt Van Epps (R-TN-07), and David Kustoff (R-TN-08).

The three new Republican candidates that emerged from the August primary – former Tennessee agriculture commissioner Charlie Hatcher in the 5th Congressional District, State Rep. Johnny Garrett (R-Goodlettsville) in the 6th Congressional District, and State Senator Brent Taylor (R-Memphis) in the 9th Congressional District – have also received the president’s formal endorsement.

“These Great Patriots have my Complete and Total Endorsement — They will never let you down!” Trump wrote.

Trump’s message comes less than two weeks after he traveled to Tennessee for a midterm election rally in Clarksville on October 10, where he sought to rally support for the state’s Republican candidates.

Tennessee’s early voting period runs through Thursday, October 29, ahead of Election Day on Tuesday, November 3.

Voters will decide races for governor, the U.S. Senate, all nine U.S. House seats, all 99 Tennessee House seats, and the odd-numbered districts of the state Senate.

The ballot will also include three proposed constitutional amendments addressing pretrial bail, a prohibition on state property taxes, and expanded constitutional protections for crime victims under Marsy’s Law.

The last day to request an absentee ballot is Saturday, October 24.
