Holtzman Vogel Expands Nashville Presence, Plans Space for 37 Attorneys at Broadwest Building

Less than two years after establishing an office in Nashville, the Republican Party-aligned law firm Holtzman Vogel on Thursday announced that it is moving to newly remodeled office space at Broadwest on West End Avenue.

According to its Wednesday press release, the firm will immediately expand to office space containing 22 offices and more than 8,000 square feet, though the new location includes plans for its footprint to swell to 37 officers across nearly 13,000 square feet.

The firm said that the national government relations firm, the Vogel Group, would join Holtzman Vogel at the new office space.

“A year and a half ago, we opened in Nashville because of Tennessee’s business-friendly environment and national reputation for outstanding governance, and because clients across the state needed counsel who understood where government and business meet,” firm founder and managing partner Jill Holtzman Vogel stated.

Vogel added,  “Demand has exceeded our expectations, and our new office space gives us room to keep building an extraordinary team to meet it.”

Broadwest is a $540 million building located at Broadway and West End Avenue meet between Nashville’s downtown and midtown. The building was officially finished in 2021, and has attracted a number of prestigious law firms in Nashville, including Baker Donelson, Adams and Reese, and Barnes and Thornburg. It also features the Conrad Nashville hotel, luxury residences, and space for retail outlets.

When the building’s management announced that Baker Donelson signed a lease at Broadwest in 2019, the building was described as part of Nashville’s “expanded downtown.”

Brandon Smith, the former chief of staff to Tennessee Attorney General Jonathan Skrmetti, is the managing partner of Holtzman Vogel’s office in Nashville. In a statement, Smith credited Tennessee’s welcoming environment for businesses for the firm’s growth.

“Tennessee’s pro-business, free-market policies continue to draw companies to the state, and our practice is growing alongside them,” Smith stated.

“This space gives us the capacity to continue building a first-rate team in Nashville, including lateral partners with established practices and talented attorneys who want to be part of one of the fastest-growing legal markets in the country,” said the attorney.

In addition to Smith, the Holtzman Vogel recently hired former Tennessee Deputy Attorney General Kevin Kreutz. The firm has also hired attorneys with ties to the Trump administration and two former Tennessee governors.
