Actor and Comedian Rob Schneider Tweets Support for Kari Lake in Arizona Governor’s Race

Actor and comedian Rob Schneider recently tweeted his support for Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake in Arizona.

Schneider and his wife, Patricia, moved to Arizona during the pandemic, deciding that they wanted a “better life for their children,” according to AZ Big Media.

“It’s going to be fun to have you as our Governor of Arizona @KariLake. #GoKari,” Schneider tweeted on Saturday.

The comedian was reacting to a letter Kari Lake posted on the platform Friday in response to Wyoming Representative Liz Cheney’s political action committee urging Arizona voters to stay away from her and Mark Finchem by airing a $500,000 TV ad.

Congresswoman Liz Cheney was defeated by Republican challenger Harriet Hageman in the state’s primary earlier this year. Since her defeat, Cheney has vowed to campaign for Democrats in order to keep Lake, and those like Lake – whom Cheney views as too pro-Trump – out of office.

Lake sent the letter to Cheney, thanking her for the “generous” contribution, as her campaign received $300,000 in donations following the release of the television ad, as The Arizona Sun Times previously reported.

“Thank you [Liz Cheney] for your generous in-kind contribution to my campaign. Your recent television ad urging Arizonans not to vote for me is doing just the opposite,” Lake said in the letter to Cheney. “Our campaign donations are skyrocketing and our website nearly crashed from traffic as people rushed to learn more about my plan to put Arizona First and join our historic political movement. In fact, my team tells me your commercial should add another 10 points to our lead!”

Lake’s letter concluded, “Enjoy your forced retirement from politics. I know America will rest easier knowing that one more warmonger is out of office.”

With the general election more than a week away, a FiveThirtyEight analysis found on Monday that Kari Lake was ahead of her Democrat opponent Katie Hobbs by 2.7 percentage points.

Let’s get something straight. I am no fan of Nancy or Paul Pelosi, but Kari Lake is one sick woman and a sorry excuse for a woman as well! Anybody who makes fun of crime victims like Paul Pelosi or people who come down with strokes during their campaigning is sick. I know one thing from her Paul Pelosi crack: she’s no friend of victims’ rights. She is unwilling to accept any election result, no matter how fair, that projects her as a loser. She is a menace to our country!
