A significant number of new jobs are coming to Williamson County after a large addiction recovery center, headquartered in Franklin, announced that it will be expanding its operations in the Volunteer State.
Just a year after moving from Arizona, Landmark Recovery will invest $7.5 million to expand in Franklin, a move that will bring approximately 1,300 new jobs to the area.
“The framework for business expansion and support laid by Governor Lee’s administration was the catalyst in Landmark Recovery’s decision to relocate from Arizona to Tennessee and to expand our headquarters in Franklin,” said Josh Hatch, Landmark Recovery’s Chief Growth Officer. “The culture of collaboration Commissioner [Stuart] McWhorter and his team of esteemed professionals from [Tennessee’s Department of Economic and Community Development] TNECD and those from TVA and Williamson County are world-class. The welcome Landmark Recovery has received over the past year has been transformative to our business model, and we are deeply appreciative of all the public and private partnerships who work diligently to make Tennessee a magnet for business and innovation.”
The company was founded in 2016, and provides individual recovery plans for those dealing with substance abuse issues.
“Companies choose to invest in Tennessee because of our unmatched business climate and skilled workforce,” Governor Bill Lee (R) said. “I thank Landmark for creating 1,300 new jobs for Tennesseans in Franklin and look forward to seeing this company thrive.”
McWhorter shared a similar sentiment.
“Supporting the businesses that call Tennessee home is a crucial part of our role at TNECD, and we are proud to partner with Landmark as this company expands its headquarters operations in Franklin,” he said. “Today’s announcement is a major win for our state, and we appreciate Williamson Inc. and TVA for their efforts in bringing this expansion to fruition.”
The news comes on the heels of the announcement that Ferrari Stampi, a moulding and ceramic tile company, will invest $1.4 million to expand its manufacturing operations in Clarksville, part of Montgomery County.
