The National Right to Life organization recently endorsed Tennessee Congressman John Rose (R-TN-06) for re-election in the state’s 6th Congressional District.
According to its website, the National Right to Life is “the nation’s oldest and largest pro-life organization” and is the “federation of 50 state right-to-life affiliates and more than 3,000 local chapters.”
Rose responded to the endorsement by saying, “I have always fought to champion our most vulnerable, and I am honored to be endorsed by the National Right to Life. In Congress, I will continue to work to stop taxpayer funded abortions and ensure every child, born and unborn, has the right to life. As Democrats push to allow abortions up until birth and even the moment after, the work to defend life is even more important. I will proudly continue to be a champion for life.”

Nashville Firefighters and IAFF Nashville Local 140 also recently endorsed Rose. He responded to the endorsement with a statement on Twitter, saying, “Having the Nashville Firefighters’ endorsement means the world to me. Our first responders – those who choose to live a life of duty to their communities – are the best of us. I am grateful for our Firefighters here in Tennessee’s 6th District and across the state.”

Congressman Rose was first elected to the U.S. House of Representatives to represent Tennessee’s 6th Congressional District in the 2018 general election. He is seeking re-election against Democrat candidate Randal Cooper in this year’s general election. Rose is endorsed by former President Donald Trump, who has called the congressman a “phenomenal conservative fighter.”
Early voting in Tennessee runs through Thursday, November 3. Voting day, Tuesday, November 8, is the deadline for mail-in ballots.
