Crom’s Crommentary: The Inaccuracies of the Highly Contested COVID Mandate Supreme Court Hearing

Live from Music Row Wednesday morning on The Tennessee Star Report with Michael Patrick Leahy – broadcast on Nashville’s Talk Radio 98.3 and 1510 WLAC weekdays from 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. – host Leahy welcomed the original all-star panelist Crom Carmichael to the studio for another edition of Crom’s Crommentary.

CARMICHAEL CONTINUED:

It’s been three weeks. And so we sit there and look at what’s going on. And all the things that the voters care about and that the citizens care about, they care about inflation, they care about crime, they care about immigration, they care about the management of COVID.

You look at all these things and the Biden administration, the metaphor that I use is he has one of those many sledgehammers, and every single problem that he sees, he tries to take that sledgehammer and crush it with a mandate.

I was incredibly disheartened to listen to the sound bites from the Supreme Court hearing that Sotomayor, Kagan, and Breyer were providing. Typically, when a Supreme Court case is heard, the justices ask questions of the people who are presenting the case pro and con but they don’t present the case themselves.

In this case, you had those three justices who were spouting facts that were false. One was a misspeak by Breyer, where he said 750 million people are coming down with COVID every day. Well, there are only 300 million people in the country. So that’s not right.

Yes, Every Kid

But 750,000 people were. And that was true. Then we had Sotomayor who made the claim that 100,000 children are very ill from COVID, and many of them are on ventilators, which is false. Just completely and totally false. But then you have to ask yourself, was she being dishonest, or was she repeating information that she heard from CNN and MSNBC?
And I think it’s the latter. I think that what she said she thought was true. This is where we had the disconnect in the country now. You have people who have information that’s accurate and then are drawing certain conclusions.

And then you have people who have the information that it’s inaccurate and they’re drawing the opposite conclusion. And therein lies the difference.

Mandates were not rolled out until there was an “FDA approved COVID vaccine”. As soon as that happened , Biden, healthcare facilities, and big corporations pounced on mandates like rabid dogs. What the truth is , is that there is STILL no “FDA approved vaccine” available. The mandates are being based on forcing people to get the same EUA jab that was supposedly keeping the evil hoardes from imposing mandates in the first place. Why has nobody presented that to the court?
