The Dave McCormick campaign for U.S. Senate released a video on Monday featuring the endorsement of Blair County Sheriff Jim Ott, who revealed his son died following a fentanyl overdose and condemned Senator Bob Casey (D-PA) and other Democrats for their inaction at the southern border.

In the video, Ott gave details about the loss of his son, Josh, who he said died following a battle with addiction that culminated in a fatal fentanyl overdose.

Biden made the remarks ahead of his Monday rally in Pennsylvania with Vice President Kamala Harris, who Republicans have suggested was influenced by concerns of antisemitism within the Democratic Party when she passed over Governor Josh Shapiro and instead picked Governor Tim Walz to complete her presidential ticket.

A Monday poll of Pennsylvania voters found former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris tied in a head-to-head race, but the former president with a narrow lead when voters were given the options of Green Party and Libertarian Party presidential candidates.

In a head-to-head contest, pollsters at Wick Insights reportedly found Harris and Trump tied, each with 49 percent of the vote.
