Biden Proposal to Surrender U.S. Health Sovereignty to World Health Organization Dealt Stunning Defeat

The Biden administration was dealt a stunning blow at the World Health Assembly (WHA) last week in its attempt to push through 13 amendments to the International Health Regulations (IHR) that would hand over U.S. decision-making power regarding healthcare policies to the World Health Organization (WHO).

At the WHA in Geneva, Switzerland, Biden’s proposed amendments – which it quietly sent to the WHO in January – received hearty support from nations such as the United Kingdom and Australia, as well as from the European Union (EU) – all of which urged nation member-states of the WHO to surrender their healthcare sovereignty to the global health agency of the United Nations.

None of the 13 amendments were adopted, however, during the WHA meeting.

Other nations, including Africa, Brazil, Brunei, Namibia, Bangladesh, Russia, Malaysia, India, China, and Iran, all expressed concerns about Biden’s proposed amendments, with Brazil especially asserting it would choose to exit the WHO entirely rather than allow its people to be made subservient to the global agency.

Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro emphatically rejected the WHO’s Pandemic Treaty, which is related, but separate, from the IHR amendments.

“Brazil will not get into this [WHO Pandemic Treaty],” Bolsonaro said. “Brazil is autonomous … I’ve already spoke to our foreign relations cabinet and if that proposal goes forward, it won’t be with Brazil.”

In a video posted to Twitter, German globalist and founder of the World Economic Forum (WEF) Klaus Schwab is heard saying, “Let’s also be clear: The future is not just happening. The future is built by us, a powerful community – you, here in this room. We have the means to impose this state [of the future] on the world.”

As the WHA continued, Reuters reported May 25 on the objections to the Biden amendments raised by African nations.

“The African region shares the view that the process should not be fast tracked …,” Moses Keetile, deputy permanent secretary in Botswana’s health ministry, told the WHA on Tuesday.

Additionally, an African delegate at the assembly reportedly said, “We find that they are going too quickly and these sorts of reforms can’t be rushed through.”

Canadian conservative member of Parliament Dr. Leslyn Lewis celebrated the defeat of the Biden amendments.

Liberty Counsel, a Christian ministry litigation firm, reported on the rejection of a new set of amendments nations were pushed to approve:

During the WHA in Geneva on Tuesday, May 24, a new set of amendments, “Conference Page 7,” was submitted in complete violation of Article 55 Section 2 of the IHR, which requires amendments to be submitted at least four months prior to the WHA. After more than 50 nations objected, the secretary reserved rooms so they could have “backroom discussions” in order to persuade those countries that were objecting to the amendments. These efforts failed.

A working group, however, has been established to continue the process of discussing proposed IHR amendments and the separate new Pandemic Treaty.

The IHR Amendments proposed timeline spans September 30, 2022 to May 2023 – the next WHA meeting.

A working draft of the new Pandemic Treaty is now proposed for August 1.

Stressing the importance for Americans to remain wary of efforts to cede U.S. sovereignty for the sake of globalism, psychiatrist Dr. Peter Breggin, author of COVID-19 and the Global Predators: We Are the Prey, said during his appearance May 25 on Steve Bannon’s War Room, “The true goal of globalism has never been for humanity, but to drain wealth and power upward.”

Breggin explained the WHO “has become a spearhead of draining wealth upward and power upward, and it’s been really effective during COVID-19, and they’ve been working closely with the CDC.”

“The WHO is our enemy,” he asserted, adding:

But, the WHO is directly connected to the CDC. The CDC, just before COVID-19, set up new rules where they could declare an emergency – a national emergency – if the WHO did. So, it’s all tied together, it’s all about shifting up money and power, and every single thing we’re looking at in the turbulence around us is explicable in those terms.”

Independent researcher James Roguski has chronicled the events leading up to the WHA and its aftermath at his Substack column, where multiple videos of the proceedings are available for viewing.

Representative Chris Smith (R-NJ), ranking member of the House global health subcommittee, welcomed the defeat of the Biden amendments Friday in a statement, noting, “it is reassuring to see public outcry by a number of countries – in particular Brazil, but also African nations and civil society as well as Malaysia – and the subsequent withdrawal of the Biden Amendments to the International Health Regulations.”

Smith warned, nevertheless, that Americans “must continue to be vigilant against any temporary, strategic retreat to ensure that the Biden Administration does not try to quietly reintroduce its egregious amendments in the dead of night – especially in light of its initial submission on January 18, 2022 without any public notice whatsoever.”

“The Biden administration and the World Health Organization suffered a stunning defeat,” said Liberty Counsel Chairman Mat Staver as he echoed a warning for Americans to remain guarded.

“The WHO must not become the global authority on public health issuing directives influenced by its funding stakeholders that impact the sovereignty of independent nations,” Staver said in a statement. “We must continue to monitor the WHO because the effort to gain more global authority has not abated.”

A very obvious attempt by the globalists to take control of Americas sovereignty. They will never stop their plan to control the world.
