Actor Tim Curry died at the age of 80 this week, TMZ reported.
Authorities responded to a call at his home on Tuesday evening. The cause of death was not immediately clear.
Curry was well-known for his role in the “Rocky Horror Picture Show.” He also starred in films such as “Muppet Treasure Island,” “The Hunt for Red October,” and “Home Alone 2.”
He also provided the voice of Darth Sidious/Chancellor Palpatine in “Star Wars: The Clone Wars.”
On stage, he played King Arthur in the original run of “Spamalot,” a musical inspired by Monty Python.
Curry suffered a stroke in 2012 that placed him in a wheelchair.
