Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard Urges DOJ to Prosecute Barack Obama for Treasonous Conspiracy

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard released declassified documents revealing “overwhelming evidence” that former President Barack Obama engaged in a “treasonous conspiracy” with members of his intelligence agencies against President Donald Trump.

She said the Obama administration found no evidence that Russia interfered in the 2016 election to help Trump, but shortly after Trump defeated Hillary Clinton, based on the now-discredited Steele dossier, officials started claiming Russia engaged in successful cyber attacks. Gabbard stated she was referring the matter to the Department of Justice for investigation.

“The information we are releasing today clearly shows there was a treasonous conspiracy in 2016 committed by officials at the highest level of our government,” Gabbard said in a news release titled “New Evidence of Obama Administration Conspiracy to Subvert President Trump’s 2016 Victory and Presidency.” “Their goal was to subvert the will of the American people and enact what was essentially a years-long coup with the objective of trying to usurp the President from fulfilling the mandate bestowed upon him by the American people.”

On Wednesday, Gabbard posted on X that it was “the most egregious weaponization and politicization of intelligence in American history.” She said it was done to delegitimize Trump’s transition to the presidency, inciting public unrest and provoking resistance against his incoming administration. Several radical groups, including DisruptJ20, engaged in violence at Trump’s inauguration on January 20, 2017. Prosecutors charged 217 people with felony rioting, and some were charged with more serious felonies such as assaulting police officers.

USA Today quoted one of the protesters, “‘It’s important to show up here to make a statement that so many Americans are angry with the outcome of this election and believe he’s illegitimate”’ due to Russian interference and voter suppression in critical states like North Carolina, [Heather] Gatny said.”

The news site said there was a group of protesters at the riot “dressed as Russian soldiers in black fur hats with a sign reading ‘Trump, remember our kompromat.’”

One of the documents Gabbard released was a report that the House Intelligence Committee originally drafted in 2017, under Republican control, and revised in 2020. Named “The Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA) ‘Russia’s Influence Campaign Targeting the 2016 Presidential Election,’” it criticized the Obama administration’s last-minute intelligence reports claiming there was Russian interference.

Gabbard went over the timeline, beginning with the intelligence agencies’ assertions before the election that Russia did not have the capability of affecting the election through cyber attacks, and wasn’t trying to.

The Obama administration maintained this position through early December 2016 after the election. However, that month the “talking points” were revised to state that “Russia has attempted through cyber means to interfere in, if not actively influence, the outcome of an election,” Gabbard said.

She added, “On January 6, 2017, a new Intelligence Community Assessment was released that directly contradicted the IC assessments that were made throughout the previous six months. After months of investigation into this matter, the facts reveal this new assessment was based on information that was known by those involved to be manufactured i.e. the Steele Dossier or deemed as not credible.”

The House committee report said that the ICA failed to adhere to required standards. The three reports issued that formed the basis for the Russian interference claim were “substandard — containing information that was unclear, of uncertain origin, potentially biased, or implausible.”

For example, “One scant, unclear, and unverifiable fragment of a sentence from one of the substandard reports constitutes the only classified information cited to suggest Putin ‘aspired’ to help Trump win.”

At the same time, “The ICA ignored or selectively quoted reliable intelligence reports that challenged — and in some cases undermined — judgments that Putin sought to elect Trump. The ICA failed to consider plausible alternative explanations of Putin’s intentions indicated by reliable intelligence and observed Russian actions.”

Obama continued the ruse by issuing executive orders in December 2016 that sanctioned Russia and expelled its diplomats.

Seditious conspiracy, 18 U.S.C. 2384, generally involves two or more people conspiring to oppose or overthrow the U.S. government. It does not require the use of violence or planning to use violence, since some of the January 6 defendants convicted of seditious conspiracy did not indicate an intent to use force.

Six Oathkeepers and four Proud Boys were convicted of seditious conspiracy related to the January 6 protest. Enrique Tarrio, leader of the Proud Boys, wasn’t even at the protest, but prosecutors pointed to the fact he owned a gun and burned a Black Lives Matter flag two days before the protest to convince jurors to convict him.

Several members of the Puerto Rican Nationalist Party were convicted of seditious conspiracy in the 1950s for opposing U.S. control of the territory. They temporarily seized the town of Jayuya. While some of the activists engaged in violence, which included shooting members of Congress, others, such as the leader, Pedro Albizu Campos, merely plotted and incited the movement.

All of those communists should be burned at the stake. The time and money they wasted, and the total BS they put PRESIDENT TRUMP and his family through is beyond unacceptable. I hope they rot in hell.
