The Ashland City Police Department (ACPD) confirmed to The Tennessee Star on Tuesday that it arrested Ethan Paul Early, who is reportedly accused of plotting to bomb the Elon Musk’s xAI facility in Memphis over political disagreements with President Donald Trump and Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

An ACPD spokesman told The Star on Tuesday that Early remained in the Cheatham County Jail after his February 19 arrest, which WKRN reported occurred after the law enforcement apparently received tips of “concerning statements” made by the suspect, citing the ACPD affidavit that led to the arrest.

The outlet reported that police claimed Early, who works an Emergency Medical Technician in Nashville, also purchased materials to make thermite, which the federal government defines as a mixture commonly used to produce explosives.

Early reportedly never combined or ignited the chemicals, and according to ABC 24, claimed he threw away the materials to create the thermite on February 17, after he was “talked out of” taking action against Musk’s facility in Memphis.

An ACPD officer reportedly stated to WKRN that Early was arrested during a welfare check sparked by friends and colleagues law enforcement said who were, “a little bit concerned about some things that he was saying regarding politics, and it was one of those things where he made some things and said some things that he shouldn’t have done.”

Within the affidavit, the officers apparently state that Early expressed shame for being “too wrapped up in politics.”

The arrest came days before U.S. Representative Robert Garcia (D-CA-42) confirmed receipt of a letter from Ed Martin, interim U.S. Attorney for Washington, D.C., seeking clarification about his suggestion Democrats should “bring actual weapons to this bar fight,” against Musk, because “[t]his is an actual fight for democracy.”

Martin wrote, “This sounds to some like a threat to Mr. Musk.”

In response, Garcia asserted congressional Democrats’ right to “forcefully oppose the Trump administration.”

The xAI facility in Memphis was announced last June, when the company said it would become the largest supercomputer in the world. It was also reported that Musk’s company would seek no local or income tax incentives to facilitate its construction.

A product of media propaganda. CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, PBS, MSNBC, ESPN, NPR, NYT, Academia and the DNC encourage and support this type on nonsense. They are looking for new leadership to tamp down the hatred but are having difficulty finding it. Encourage them by tuning out.
