White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles on Wednesday announced that her cancer treatment had been successful, after announcing the diagnosis in March.
“Some personal news I’m grateful to share. After a medical appointment at the Mayo Clinic this week, my pathology results came back clear.
I am cancer free,” she posted on X.
“Thank you to my family, friends, doctors, and everyone who prayed for me, checked in, and supported me along the way,” she added. ”
A special thank you to President Trump for his unwavering support. I am deeply grateful and will continue to work to advance his America First Agenda.”
Wiles managed Trump’s campaign in 2024, later becoming his chief of staff.
Trump, in March, called Wiles “one of the strongest people I know” and “an incredible chief of staff.”
Vice President JD Vance on social media said he and his wife were “very happy to hear this news and the answer to [their] prayers.”
“Thank you Susie for remaining a symbol of strength and leadership throughout this battle. Your indomitable spirit is something we can all learn from and strive to replicate,” Vance added.
Texas Sen. Ted Cruz said Wiles has “shown tremendous strength throughout this fight.”
“Thank God for this good news, and continued prayers for Susie and her family,” he said.
House Majority Whip Tom Emmer said, “Susie is an amazing leader and a proud patriot who loves this country. We are thrilled to hear this wonderful news and wish you all the best, Susie!”
