The Republican National Committee (RNC) announced new programming details for its upcoming Midterm Convention in Dallas, Texas, which the committee touted as the first midterm convention in modern American history.
RNC Chairman Joe Gruters said the two-night event at the American Airlines Center will focus on the accomplishments of President Donald Trump and congressional Republicans while laying out the party’s agenda ahead of the November midterm elections.

“Over two action-packed days, we will take Americans through the defining issues of our Party’s agenda and what is at stake in November,” Gruters said. “Each hour will have its own theme, its own message, and its own voices, building toward President Donald Trump’s vision for the next chapter of American greatness.”
“This will be unlike any political convention America has seen before,” Gruters added.
The convention is scheduled for Wednesday, September 9, and Thursday, September 10, and will feature 109 total programming items and speakers across the two nights.
Trump is scheduled to appear both nights and deliver a keynote address on the second night, while Vice President JD Vance will deliver the first night’s keynote.
The first night will feature discussions on tax relief, government waste and fraud, healthcare costs, election integrity, border enforcement, education and parental rights, trade, public safety, domestic manufacturing, and other issues.
The RNC said programming will highlight policies including the Working Families Tax Cuts Act, “No Tax on Tips,” expanded child tax credits, school choice, border enforcement, and healthcare initiatives.
The second night will continue with a focus on tax relief, education freedom, border security, prescription drug costs, public safety, and congressional reforms.
The RNC also plans to highlight “Everyday Americans” and Republican candidates running in key House, Senate, and gubernatorial races.
Among the topics slated for the second night are the Trump administration’s efforts to bring American hostages home, prescription drug savings through TrumpRx, healthcare reforms, and the party’s future agenda.
The convention will also include a commemoration of the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, featuring the children and families of first responders.
The RNC said the event will wrap up Thursday night with Trump’s presidential keynote address.
Those interested in attending the event can request tickets on the convention’s website.
